ALL the OTHER Arsenal transfer rumours – Not Aubameyang, Alexis or Malcom!

Everyone must be getting sick of the Arsenal rumours about Alexis Sanchez by now, and hopefully, as promised by Arsene, this will be finally put to bed in the next 24 hours, one way or the other. Also I’m not going to repeat the Aubameyang and Malcom rumours as these have already been well-covered as well, so what else is doing the rounds today?

First of all the Guardian reckons that we are very keen to get the Man United attacking midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan as part of the Alexis deal, and it was Sven Mislintat, who took Mkhitaryan to Dortmund in the first place before his United move. If he could regain the form he had in Germany he would be an excellent addition to the Arsenal squad…

The Sun is saying that the Gunners are chasing the Watford forward Richarlison, who got off to a great start this season, but now reckons he is getting man-marked in every game as opponents have cottoned on to him. He claimed: “Teams are already marking me individually, they are putting two players there on my side. Unfortunately it’s difficult, but I’m doing what I can.” Maybe he’ll do better at Arsenal with so many other good players to draw the defenders away from him?

The Everton boss Sam Allardyce has made it clear that he wants Theo Walcott, but doesn’t sound quite as confident as he was last week. “I see him playing anywhere across the front three — but I’m presuming if he’s not comfortable with that, then he will tell us and it won’t happen. That’s if we can get that far.” Big Sam said.

Matthieu Debuchy is being targeted by St. Etienne and West Brom, but Alan Pardew will only buy him if Jonny Evans leaves the Baggies. It is clear that Debuchy wants out as usual…

And finally, and maybe one of the most likely, is the report that we are interested in the England Under-17s World Cup winner Billy Crellin, who is currently a reserve keeper at Fleetwood Town. He has never even played a first team game yet but he is the first ever Fleetwood player to get into an England side, and can you believe their home ground is called the Highbury Stadium!

  1. None of them really interest me.
I’m interested in names like Lemar, Draxler, Mahrez, Rodriguez, Dybala, Seri, Goretzka, Godin, Verane etc.
With Alexis and Ozil going and Cazorla out, our squad seriously lacks World Class talent or even top players who are not world class talent innit

Before that can happen, Wenger needs to go. He is slowly turning us into Everton or a team that hovers around top 4 but never gets there. We are no longer a top 4 team.

    1. so only big name, big tags and media names players?

pretty sure you were not interested in Mbappe, Lemar and Seri prior to the year 2017

            1. Sue might be right, how many times have we seen stuff like this ..between media bs, us bulking at prices, and agents using us to bring in more bidders ..am not getting hopes up. Mkhit I believe. Also ..Lacazette and Auba?, they would vie for the same position, that would be quality in CF spot so it makes this report even harder to believe.

              1. Clubs and agents always use Arsenal to start the biding war, they lead us in to a false belief that we can pick up a player for a reasonable amount then a club like Chelsea, Manchester’s, Barca, Reals’s of this world come in with a huge offer to seal the deal and Arsenal fall flat on our faces, some of those teams buy players even if they don’t need them just so not to go to the competition, they even unsettle players by pretending to want them for a higher salaries but often never put in a offer

                1. lets see who turns up at the last minute to buy Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang i have a feeling it will be Chelsea hope i’m wrong

          1. Aub is better that Sanchez now composure, very fast and can score for fun and does not loose a ball much like sanchez

        1. I am quite sure we won’t be getting aubameyang, he is ambitious! he was vying for Madrid, why would he come to a failing arsenal team without champions league football? because he knows the scout??? yeah right!

    2. I’ve been shouting my lungs out for auba and not laca. And I still want auba, draxler, goretzka, hamsik ……….

    3. Sanchez is already 29 and not going to get better plus not helped us to win league or progress in UCL… Mkhitaryan would be a very good addition and after not getting game time at Man Utd will be desperate to prove himself.. so a decent swap especially if we get okayer8 AND £30mn !!
Under 23 players look good and many now getting a run out in first team
So we are in transition finally rather than papering over the cracks
If we get either Malcolm or Auba then its been a good window with new and younger players coming in for Sanchez Waclott and Giroud

  2. I just don’t understand why there is jo defenders om the list. For me building a god team start’s from the back. If you don’t have a god keeper and defence, your midtfield nede to help defend, making it harder for the attackers as they are somehow left alone. Bring in a world class defenders pleas and start looking for a new keeper. Right now I would wish Szczesny was om loan, and we could bring him back.

      1. The lad is good but you can’t just say he is better than scjesny when he hasn’t been test on the same platform with him, the truth of the matter is scjesny messed up but what do you expect from a keeper with a week midfield and week defence?
serial A is not that bad and he could be picked as one of the best keepers there.
So, if Martinez can have a better performance when tested with bigger reponsibilities than the occasional outing he normally get, then one will be able to agree that he is better.

  3. Haha apparently Riyadh Mahrez will now cost £100M! With transfer prices rising faster than bitcoin, who exactly is going to fork out these monstrous sums being thrown about? Has tv income magically increased? Ticket prices maybe? Oh well, never been a fan of Mahrez.

  4. I still don’t understand why the club have decided to deal with this situation in the manner they have. Why go through this circus in January and disrupt the already fragile squad. He had offers in August and dithered on the replacement. Now it’s a scattergun case of ‘oh will you sell us your best attacker on the cheap because we are selling our best player’

    This is just a farce.

    1. This is beyond farcical IMO…

I thought I was bad at my job, when I was 18 or so.

But these clowns get paid millions a year, and still royally manages to fudge things up like the buffoons they are.

  5. Sun is shit paper… Don’t believe on Sun newspaper… Unless and until something is confirmed by BBC or Sky it cannot be trusted..

  6. I think Aubameyang will be a replacement for Giroud, not Sanchez like the media have been reporting.
Malcom might come in for Walcott and if we are really lucky (we aint) we will get Lemar or Draxler as replacement for Sanchez.

to extend this dream, I am going to wish for Ozil to sign a new contract and for us to buy a decent defender, someone other than Evans. don’t get me wrong, Evans would be a welcome addition, but he is getting on in age, and that’s the problem with Koscielny. Kos is one of my fav defenders and a beast. but he only has so much time left. we need to start thinking about getting someone younger in. Also, at the start of Jan there was a rumor about us going for David Luiz….? yes he is also getting a bit on in age, but COME ON!!!!! can you truly say you don’t want him on our team? Come on Wenger! get Sideshow Bob!

    so to recap.

    IN:
    Aubameyang
    Malcome
    Draxler / Lemar
    Luiz / Evans

    Sign:
    Ozil

    Out:
    Sanchez
    Walcott
    Giroud

      1. He got us Ozil, Sanchez and Lacazette in recent years. yes we are almost defnitly losing sanchez and chances are we will lose Ozil. but the crazy old man isn’t all bad. he has done some great things for this great club of ours. and therefore I will always respect him. yes I agree we need a change, and that change starts with him and the board. but that doesn’t make me respect him any less.

    1. I say bring kallstrom out of retirement … If wenger can go on forever why not his guy? He did wonders for us last time around

      1. Even Kallstrom would not want to come to Arsenal in this state.
Even if I am a player I will think twice.
The only chance of us signing a good player is offering a good wage package.

  7. I’d insist on £30 mil from United or make Sanchez make up the shortfall .If not keep him on the bench and use him as a sub till the end of the season and sometime use him.If he throws his toys out the pram fine him a wks wages. Its about time clubs cracked the whip on these f***ing prima donna footballers. At the moment the tail is wagging the dog.Tell Sanchez to put that in his pipe and smoke it.

  8. I say,
OUT: Chambers, Debutchy, Ramsey, Xhaka, Elnany, Walcott, Welbeck, Girourd
IN: Eriksen, Zaha, Salah, Evans, Smalling, David Silva

    1. We need players who play and have experience from PL NOW if we would have any chance to make it to positioning 3or 4

    1. The old fool obviously doesn’t know how to set up a defence to do the one thing it is there for which is to defend. You can pick anyone from our recent past who could improve us-George is one but can you really see the Board allowing this?Adams Campbell Keown would get into them. Another name STEVE BOULD.What for gods sake does he do?Top Top defender in his day who is happy to be Wengers Poodle.I have lost all respect for someone who always put his body on the line for AFC and now sits there like the lapdog he has become.

  9. Does anyone remember we had bought those 2 boys with huge potential Jeff Rene-Adelaid and Fortune? We also have Nelson, Maitland-Niles ,Willock, Bellerin, Iwobi, Martinez and Holding. Also there is Bilic. All these guys young and highly capable, when will they graduate into a fantastic team? If ever?
United had this class of 92(or whatever). Why can’t we?
Not denying that we need world class senior pros to guide this crop, but we do need to give them chances, trust them and above all motivate them. Question is does Arsenal have manager and/or management to do that?

  10. Mhki, Auba, and/or Malcolm?

How many (if any) do you fellow Gooners think we’ll get? Either in this window or end of season? ??

Still no DM, CB, GK, or others in sight yet?!! ?

    1. We will get none of them! It’s all smoke and BS.

MHK won’t want to play for us and come to arsenal as late of the deal. The Aub rumour is just nonsense- we would not reveal him coming is based on Alexi being offloaded if it was the actual case, as that would drive the Alexi cost down as people would know we have a deal hinging on it and need to sell.

Malcoms team has said there has been no contact from Arsenal’s….

It’s all BS, put out by the Arsenal propaganda team to keep fans quiet.

      1. That’s what I’m worried about lol also what happened to the apparent ‘enquiry’ made for Johnny Evans or that ‘supposed 35m bid’ we made for Mehdi Benatia? ??? I can’t wait for this window to be over with!

  11. Why is anybody not talking about Harry mcGuire ? He is doing well for Lester and much younger than Evans. what do you think mates ?!
