Are Arsenal approaching every single available striker in Europe?

Ever since the season ended, it would appear that Arsenal have been linked with every single player that may have a chance to replace Alexis Sanchez in the Gunners forward line. It started with Mbappe with a price of 100 million which seemed a little unrealistic, then apparently we were going for Alexandre Lacazette at 60 million and we are reckoned to be front-runners despite the player himself saying that he would prefer a team in the Champions League. James Rodriguez was mentioned a few times until Chelsea were going to take him to replace Fabregas.

We have been linked with the ex-Chelsea flop Juan Cuadrado and this morning we have been associated with the Atletico man Yannick Carrasco.

The latest Arsenal rumour is that we are going to rival Everton for the AC Milan striker M’Baye Niang, who was so impressive on loan at Watford last season that he scored twice in 16 appearances for the Hornets. It seems Watford have decided not to take the option to buy and so Arsenal are now in the frame? I doubt that very much!

The way I see it, Arsene Wenger may well have a few possible striker targets, but they would have to be of the quality of Mbappe or at least Lacazette to appease the fans and convince them that they are trying to replace Alexis’ goals next season, but the only player I can see Niang replacing is Yaya Sanogo!

Which of these rumours strike you as having a chance of being true?

  1. arsenal can buy lacazette but what they need to do is to renew sanchez and ozil contracts

    1. to buy Lacazette they need to make an offer for him first. In true Arsenal style they have note made an offer forLacazette yet. Probably waiting for the last day of the window.

  2. Sanchez as the striker with a world class- winger is also not a bad option

  3. I don’t think so because there is no concrete news about it…. These all are rumors made by newspapers and nothing has been confirmed by BBC or Sky…. I don’t think so we tracking or signing any Striker this summer… Wenger might be trusting Giroud and Welbeck…

  4. There is so much “fake news” about that it is difficult to know what to believe.

  5. It’s ok relax.

We will no doubt sign someone who is

    A. Not what we need
    B. As cheap as possible
    C. A panic buy because Arsene actually forgot he made
    A promise to sign someone.
    D. A panic buy because no-one else is left on the market.
    E. A panic buy by Gazidis in Wengers abscence.
    F. Not of the quality we require or expect
    G. Someone young with ‘potential’ from the French 2nd division

Expect anything different and you haven’t been paying attention;)

        1. Jog on yourself buddy… ArseOverTit has said nothing but negatives even when we win FA Cup… and has repeatedly said he is leaving this site and hence my message as to why he is still here ! no point being on a forum to constantly moan and say youre leaving and then dont do it.. !

  6. I think all these rumours start with Wenger and he would never confirm or deny them. He likes to keep everyone in the dark. He owes the fans nothing.

  7. Surprised?
Every year at this time on all medias you read about Arsenal talking to all major clubs in Europe
