Arsenal closing on shock winger transfer

Arsenal are claimed to be close to agreeing a deal to sign young winger Cohen Bramall.

The 20 year-old is currently plying his trade in non-league with Hednesford Town FC, but could be make the huge jump up to the Premier League with the Gunners.

Bramall enjoyed a two-day trial with the North-London side last week, spending training with the side’s first-team, and is now said to be close to agreeing a two-year deal.

His contract is expected to see him join up with Arsenal’s development squad initially, in hope of earning a call-up to the side’s first team in the future.

The club are claimed to have come across the youngster when he participated in a trial for Sheffield Wednesday recently, and are now happy to give him the chance to try and work his way up through the ranks.

The most recent story of a successful rise from non-league comes in the shape of current Premier League champion Jamie Vardy, but his rise was not so rapid, as he worked his way up with a number of sides, before winning the Championship and PL with the same club.

Bramall failed to earn a contract with Crewe, but he will now be given the chance to work with one of the best academies in the country, one with a proven track record of progressing young players into first-team regulars.

I have attached a creative assist of his from this season below, as well as very impressive technical goal of his from the FA Cup below that.

Could this kid have what it takes to make it at Arsenal?
