Arsenal confirmed team for crunch Spurs tie

The confirmed teams are out for today’s North London Derby, without any surprises.

Laurent Koscielny has been given the go-ahead to start the crunch tie, giving us a huge boost as we look to build on our recent upturn in form.

Theo Walcott and Hector Bellerin have been overlooked as they have been since the recent switch to the newly-favoured 3-4-2-1 formation, and they have nothing to complain about considering we have 100% win rate in the new system.

Is this the right team to take on Spurs? Can our 100% record under the new system continue it’s run?

Well we have lost with Ramsey starting.

Move ox central and play Bellerin on right.

More pace and ox can at least hold a ball better than Wengers Son.

    1. Kedar Damle

Ox should be on Right or left… He can more productive there only… I think Bellerin Should have started on Left instead of Gibbs…. And Welbeck should have been in starting line up instead of Giroud…

    Utd drawing,
City losing 2-1 at the moment.
    Chelsea winning 2-0
The favours are in Arsenals favour lol, whilst the spuds will be feeling a little deflated with their chances of catching Chelsea.

Psychologically, its in Arsenals favour but we never seem to take advantage of the favours that have been favoured to us.

?we love you favours, we dooooo?
    COYG-Bottlers ?⚪️?

This guys love affair with Ramsey need serious psychological attention … It will be all about whether ozil and ox show up today … If not it’s difficult to see where enough goals will come from don’t think Sanchez can do this one alone ..optimistically 2 – 2 but more likely 3 -1 … Either way should not be enough to save wenger

  4. Break-on-through

Wonder why he dropped Holding, I thought he might have rested him last time out. We had a problem with set pieces I thought the reason for the change was to help deal with that too. We are back two basically having two CB’s and Giroud maybe Xhaka to deal with tall players and aerial threat. Unless he’s thinking Monreal would get skinned out on the wing.

  5. citrenoogeht

Looking at that team, begs the question how terrible does Ramsey have to be before Wenger leaves him on the bench?

  6. John0711

Ozil fans please watch him, he is so lazy. I don’t expect a tackle but I do expect hard work

      1. Cpt zim

Im cheering for Arsenal, but I can bet against them, its the smart thing to do you idiot.

  7. Cpt zim

Elneny should play in place of Ramsey, and I must say, stupid Wenger playing both xhaka and ramsey, either ramsey and coq or coq and elneny.

Or coq n ox with bellerin wb

Half an hour without conceding. Wenger is a genius

    1. Vanpayslip is hood ornaments/junkies win awards in my tournaments

Depends on which rumours you listen to

  9. lord wafflebury

Hate to admit but imo ramsey has been our best player ! As for ozil….take him off, bring on bellerin and move ox up…they are playing on arsenals right side weakness as ozil too lazy to defend…strolling about again as if hes on daddys yacht.

    1. Fatboy Gooney

Yeah, I hate that you admitted it too ?? Ramsey is always a liability, he nearly scored an own goal lol well, he gave away a needless corner towards the end of the first half… Basically, I just don’t like the w@nker! Is that a crime? ?

  10. lcebox

Just not Natural Spuds playing better than us no matter what form.
Spurs showing the weakness of the formation by getting down the wings with ease slight tweaks and maybe we will get a win which after todays results i cant help feel it might be our day.

  11. Elliot

Tbh, I’d take a draw. It’s not good by any means but I would probably commit suicide if tottenham wins the league.

  12. Fatboy Gooney

Take off Ramsey, Gibbs & Giroud and bring on Welbeck,Holding and Walcott. Holding into CB and move Monreal to the wing.

    1. lcebox

We do but we’re Arsenal we should have cover but he is the class act in our midfield when u look at the others form atm.

  13. Ronny

And this is with no dumbell,(beast), Danny rose and kyle walker. Our squad just looks so mid table at least the back 3 looks slightly less leaky.
Subs for spurs 2nd half may win this one.
Personally giroud must come off and with sanchez and ozil up there we need either walcott or welbeck running off the spurs back line. I think pace is needed to get away from vertonghen and Alderwereild.

    1. Rkw

Please go back to supporting leyton orient … Your understanding of football is worse than the idiot delusional one currently wrecking this club

  14. Ronny

Yep I can’t really remeber us being able to play keep ball well…….forever. cazorla gave us that.
He along with ozil and sanchez could unlock teams.
Oh for busquets, modric, vidal, we need to drop off Ramsey at the local charity shop and buy a mid 20’s midfield maestro. Pains me to say it but cesc would of done it.

Only positive so far is that Giroud is probably going to do some serious damage to a spud fan is row Z

  16. Muffdiver wants change...not for arsenal...for.the vending machine, I'm thirsty as f###

    Finally tested
    Finally rested

    Both Manchester clubs drop points

    We blow it

  17. mrgotyourbanana

This Arsenal team is a total shambles… Tf was Wenger thinking leaving Giroud on??

  18. Rkw

Collapse … WEnger must announce now he is leaving at end of season … A ffing disgrace .as for the idiot Ramsey lovers on this site am sick of em … their understanding of football beggars belief … Mind frizzled by 4th place junkiedom … They are a disgrace to real fans if this club

  19. Vanpayslip is hood ornaments/junkies win awards in my tournaments

Wenger actually gets paid for this!

  20. mark

We are soft, leaderless and ever so slightly pathetic to watch as our fake ‘top club’ status slowly crumbles around us.

It’s like teams smell our weakness and punish everything we do wrong.

    Soft penalty though..

  21. Juhi McLovin

Harry Kane will eclipse Thierry Henrys goal record in 8 seasons. Probably will do it in less games as well. Unbelievable how low one dictator can sink this club.

  22. Javier

Mediocrity will continue to be the norm with Wenger in charge.

My prediction are correct!! thumbs up

Wenger out!!!! Spurs 2 Arsenal ladies 0

  23. Reddb10

It’s disgusting to watch, especially when you take into account what we paid for ozil and xhaka.

    1. RSH

Ozil is a lost cause, another game he has done absolutely nothing. Xhaka would be better under a better manager. Most of our squad is hopeless under current manager.

      1. Bob2

Why would Xhaka be better? We ran 10 km less than spurs today… Xhaka is not athletic enough for the premiership…

  24. Cpt zim

I bet for 3-0, so hoping for another Spur goal.

Some arsenal fan might as well benefit frim this garbage.

  25. Douglas

Another loss 2day & this one is even more painful because we are losing to our bitter rival. Arsenal is gone 4 sure.

  26. Rkw

Utterly outclassed …need to start from scratch after a lost decade of wenger’s delusions … Only 5 max 6 of this team to be retained … Do the owners and board care though .lol perhaps the revenue loss will be awake up call ….

  27. Fatboy Gooney

Turned off! ? I hate watching the Spuds celebrating against us ?
We were only deluding ourselves into thinking that we could get something out of this game lol
Our destiny was already written before kickoff, what with City & Utd dropping points… Because we simply never, ever take advantage of that!

    1. RSH

losses dont effect me anymore, it’s the norm. I don’t think anyone besides some of our fans gave us any chance today. We’ve been terrible for so long now.

    1. RSH

not his last derby. He’s already signed a new contract. They’re just waiting for the summer to announce it once the anger goes down and there is little Arsenal fans can do about it.

            1. RSH

lets hope so. The higherups just have no shame. Wenger has no shame. Should’ve announced he was leaving so the team could try to give him a strong sendoff instead of this nonsense. So much uncertainty and anger around the entire organization now.

  28. Vanpayslip is hood ornaments/junkies win awards in my tournaments

Wenger: “I live the attitude of this team”

Yeah that is the problem, Arsene. You are the only one.

    1. gmv8

Embarrassing … you are right, they should’ve … we seemed to have no pride at all, Walcott was the worst continually losing the ball .. don’t know what was up with Ramsey one moment he was reasonable the next atrocious. AS seemed to give up after one of Ramsey’s passes to him was completely off target, yet he himself was culpable of losing the ball. Their best opportunities they seemed to miss, and their goals was a mixture of keystone cop defending by us, and Kane hanging out a leg. If we had a bit more pride and belief, we could’ve easily won that … it’s up to the manage to instill that in the players.

  29. Douglas

Arsenal has been humbled by Tottenham once again, sorry 4 Arsene Wenger cos the players let him down big time.

  30. ramterta

I assure you that the club has burnt to the ground.
Lets hope there will be redemption one day.
Poor grown ups are being tutored by children

Some time ago remember people saying hoping spurs got 2nd cos we always above them now there are 2nd but…..
