Arsenal fans reactions to a 4th defeat in a row….

Well it looks like Arsenal are a totally spent force and Arsene Wenger surely can’t take any more of the pressure can he? I have a feeling he will stay until the bitter end as he knows nothing else any more.

Anyway, here is a selection of reactions from Arsenal fans on both Twitter and JustArsenal….

Innit
Now even 6th place is Not secure. Burnley is only 5 points behind us. In fact we are closer to Burnley than we are to Chelsea.
I’m only watching Europa League matches from now on. I had a really bad gut feeling about this match so i didn’t even comment on the match day article let alone watch the match.
Why should I upset myself when we wont finish in the Top 4.
Im not saying we will win Europa League but anything is possible in a knockout tournament. So I will only watch Europa League matches until next season or Wenger is GONE. Whichever comes first.
Pathetic result
Well done to Brighton. The better team on the day won

Avenger
Two men are fishing on a river bank in a remote area of the River Thames on a Saturday afternoon miles away from any radio or tv.
Suddenly one man turns to the other and says “The Gunners have lost again.”
The other man was flabbergasted and said “how in the name of god do you know that?”
The other man replied “It’s quarter to five.”

yup, its just another humiliation to add to the books. Fans must deliver the final blow by not showing up to games and hurting clubs pockets. A lot of match day revenue comes from concession, shirts, etc. Stop buying, stop handing money to the club and demand change. They only care about money. Maybe missing out on UCL again will be enough but I still worry it wont.

Ronny
STAN, JOSH, IVAN are you out there? Are you watching? Take action come in take action it’s got to be done now!!
Let Mislintat or Mertesacker manage the rest of he games!!
Problem is however a long shot we still can get cl next year. As long as that’s true and our board are inept and naive then Wenger stays.

  1. Well 3 things I’d like to add are…
1 kudos to cech for coming out and effectively holding his hand up to take blame and kind of apologise.
2 did anyone see Kos post match interview?
I kno2 he’s a bit of a joker but when asked if the players were behind the manager still he almost laughed, he had to swallow that one quickly.
3 when they walked out they all appeared to be bricking it each and every one of them looked terrified and with no belief. I get that but surely someone is able to switch on a game face?

    1. Chek and Kos lost this match for us, the best they can do is announce their retirement now like Mert.A shambolic display to oust their manager, least they know that when hes gone, the new guy will kick them off in minutes. As Wenger mentioned, some one gave Welbeck a permanent deal against his wish.I don’t know what the scouting team found good in Chambers, Xhaka, etc., how can Wenger coach them when they don’t have what it takes to be at Arsenal, at least we were better off with Danilson and Song. And finally things were to improve with Sven and Raul, but have worsened, we don’t know what’s happening behind the scenes, like selling Giroud instead of Welbeck. Call Giroud what you like, but he gave us an option B and saved us in many games, even last year’s FA cup final.Sorry Wenger or any other guy (now their after Low!!!!!!) cannot fix Arsenal in the current state.Sven, Raul, Ivan out right now

      1. Wenger has been scapegoat to all problems caused by Club’s owners. Club has not received any investment while has to pay debt from stadium in 15 years. It has no other way than selling best players every year, and has had to compete against Chelsea, MC, MU, Braca, Real, BM, … So, it is ridiculous to ask for titles with such tight budget and mediocre players.
Les Professeur should quit as soon as possible. He does not need to sacrifice more for such ingratitude fans. With few years left in his career, AW should go to place where they give him enough budget to compete (PSG, BM?).

  2. I respect Cech for what he had done for team and took the blame today. That is what Wenger should do ! Today it was Cechs fault probably, but you can not have every corner one shoot for opposition do you even jump ? This is on whole defence not just Cech

  3. Arsenal FC have become a leaderless rabble, with no structure, no drive, weak mentality and no commitment. The defence is a shambles (credit to Cech for taking his portion of the blame), there is no width to our play, we yry to break teams down straight down the middle and the the beautiful interpassing direct play of the past is a sad memory.
It starts with Arsene Wenger sitting motionless on the bench, but these so called professional footballers need to have a good hard look at themselves.
This weekend my local Australian League team, the Newcastle Jets (currently second) beat the runaway premiership leaders Sydney City 2:1 playiing with 10 men for 80 minutes. When did we last see a performance like this from Arsenal FC?

  4. For a well reasoned, rational and quite unemotional analysis of the current situation I recommend listening to Lee Judge on Arsenal Fan TV. Lee has followed The Arsenal home and away at least back as far as the early 1980’s when Terry Neil
    was manager.

  5. I can turn it around…….what Wenger needs to do is …….to turn his behind around and head for Paris………I can fix it……..it is like a glass now……….you can’t fix it……you dotard………even when you had opportunities the result was the same or worse………..what you need to do is……..go fix your retirement home in southern France…………that’s what needs fixing………….leave Arsenal alone………Wenger OUT……

  6. I won’t blame wenger for all these. It’s the arsenal fans that buy season ticket every year even after seeing the mediocre performance of the team. If the stadium is always empty, the club makes a loss meaning they must find a solution to the manager problem but no they are relaxing comfortable thanks to the English fans.

    1. So, how do I get my season tickets (which I’ve had for 30 plus years) back when Wenger has gone????

  7. Credit to Cech for admitting failings. Our centre backs contrived to make Glen Murray a world beater and in the absence of any defensive midfielder, our entire defence is a shambles. As a Brighton fan was quoted after the match” they are the poorest team I’ve seen in Brighton this season . Who would argue with him?
