Arsenal ready to move for the ‘French Fellaini’?

Arsenal are claimed to be eyeing a move to sign Yacine Adil from Paris Saint-Germain.

The 17 year-old is yet to sign a professional contract with the French giants, and supposedly rejected an offer from his current club in favour of a move elsewhere.

Adil isn’t enjoying his best season in terms of numbers with the PSG youth side, and is believed to be looking to move on in favour of bigger opportunities to progress.

Arsenal may well prove to be the most likely club to succeed with, with their record of bringing young players through the academy into the first-team such as Hector Bellerin, Alex Iwobi, Jack Wilshere and the most recent Ashley Maitland-Niles currently enjoying regular action having started in the youth sides.

The youngster has been dubbed the ‘French Fellaini’ despite being an attacking player, and the likeness must simply be from his similar hair-style (thankfully), and the forward can boast six goals in 16 outings for the French Under-17 side.

PSG have already lost midfielder Claudio Gomes to Manchester City this month, with the Citizens taking full advantage of PSG’s struggles to promote youth, and Les Parisiens will be due a minimal development fee which is yet to be decided.

Bayern Munich and Barcelona are also linked with an interest in signing Adil, highlighting the potential that the 17 year-old possesses, but there is hope that he will look at the club with the best record of progression, as opposed to the club with the best Champions League chances…

Could we be set to beat the European giants to the youngster’s signature? Which big club’s can boast a better record of progressing than ours?

  1. He looks very tall, despite not as tall as Fellaini. If Arsenal can get this boy cheaply, it would be a good business, like Holding, Bellerin, Fabregas, Bielik and Mavropanos.

Of course there is a risk that he would not improve well like Sanogo, Toral, Merida, etc. But Arsenal can always sell the failed ones easily.

  2. a dm ?
this giroud to chelsea talk seems interesting
would we use the money for someone else?

theres loads of players at chelsea i would swap for giroud
    willian kante

ot girouds wife blatantly knew he would play away again- stay in london indeed 😉

  3. So Aubameyang is very very close… but giroud’s future is unknown… Please dont let him go to Chelski! It won’t ruin his Arsenal legacy but I’m tired of seeing our former players go to direct rivals.

  4. The French Fellaini would be a major acquisition after we have already got the Armenian Ozil and Gabonese Lacazette
