Arsenal striking future secured by two former forward stars

Arsenal fans already have a great deal to thank these two former forwards for, with Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp having played in almost 800 Arsenal games between them and scored well over 300 goals for the Gunners, picking up 17 winners medals in the process.

And now, according to a Metro report, we could soon have a lot more to thank the club legends for, as their legacy is still being felt today. It is still having a positive influence on our team as well, or at least it will when the brilliant young striking prospect that is Donyell Malan starts to break through into the Arsenal first team.

The 16-year old joined the Arsenal academy from the Dutch club Ajax in the summer and is tipped for great things in the future. And the Holland youth international revealed why that future will be with the Gunners.

He said, “When I found out Arsenal were interested in me I felt so proud and excited.

“Arsenal was a club that had always interested me for two main reasons, Dennis Bergkamp and Thierry Henry.”

Good news for Arsenal’s future and with the current team including such amazing players as Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez and some real promise in the youth system, who is to say how bright that future will be?

  1. Sanchez should play CF, buy a LW and DM to cover for Coq. End of the summer flamini/rosicky/areta will be gone, hopefully wheelchair will be good enough to play there as well as our new signing. That’s my ideal scenerio.

  2. Yes, there are many young players in our youth set up,
that are looking like future star’s! Or maybe even legends!
But the truth is, they are not being primed to star for Arsenal on a long term basis!… I understand that alot of fan’s won’t agree with my thoughts but you will see in a few years from now, how these young players will make Arsenal fc Hundreds of millions from selling them on.

  3. The way some of you talk about our players is disgusting And you have no right to call yourselves Arsenal supporters
