Arsenal Tactics – How we will line up for the start of a crucial season?

ARSENAL TACTICS: LINING UP FOR CRUCIAL EPL SEASON by

It is clear that Arsenal must find a winning formula that will make use of the opportunities and players available in the camp to the best possible balanced formation that can stand against a tough season in the EPL. We are already aware that we may miss key personnel in the first two matches that will be critical.

The pattern below involves getting the most goals, defending strongly and utilizing the talents within the squad. Pattern 5.3.2. below is the first XI in the pattern.

————–Higuain-Sanchez—————-

———————-Ozil————————-

——–Xhaka——————Mahrez——-

Monreal———-Coquelin———–Bellerin

———-Koscielny——–Monalas————

————————Cech———————-

The team to start off the season following the Euro 2016 and COPA America Tournaments fatigues and Injuries. The team below should be able to dispatch both Liverpool and Leicester City.

————–Higuain-Van Persie—————-

———————–Cazorla———————-

——–Xhaka—————–Elneny——-

Monreal———-Coquelin———–Bellerin

———-Gabriel——–Monalas————

———————–Cech———————-

I know, I know …The traitor returns! Yes, there is a case that we will lose Giroud to get Higuain and to fund such changes we may have to let go even other players. I would rather have Van Persie and get rid of Walcott. When Sanchez returns Van Persie will be demoted to the bench. If we can’t get Van Persie (After all we forgave Flamini too) then players like Abel Hernandez or Andre Gray from the championship would relish the opportunity and both being aged 25 would love to understudy and eventually replace Higuain. All the players can be bought at varied costs below 10Million and have scored over 20 goals in the past season. Van Persie had 22, Gray had 25 and Hernandez had 21.

With all the Arsenal transfer rumours abound, who should Arsenal sign and how should we lineup for the first two critical games (Liverpool and Leicester) and what will be your first XI pattern with everyone available?

    1. Maybe worse it will be Sanogo leading the line,I’m still waiting for the inevitable press conference where Wenger says we don’t need any new strikers because we have Giroud,Sanogo,Akpom,Walcott and Welbeck to come back later in the season

      1. And it does not stop here, mark my words, Welbeck is reserved to be declared as a Winter signing, as if a new signing for next January

        1. Considering everyone is fit:::

          Cech
          Bellerin – Manolas – Koscielny – Monreal
          Xhaka – Cazorla
          Lacazette – Ozil – Sanchez
          Giroud

Subs: Ospina, Mertesacker, Gibbs, Wilshere, Ramsey, Walcott, Welbeck

  1. Arsenal will line up the same as always in a 4-2-3-1 formation against every side because Wenger is still the same, all the top managers have Wenger’s number because he doesn’t adapt the teams playing style according to our opponents from week to week,he thinks the so-called Arsenal way is the best way for every game even though we’ll face different teams with different managers!

  2. cech
    bellerin gabriel mertesacker monreal
    coquelin el neny
    iwobi cazorla walcott
    sanogo.

Lets not be deluded here guys.
This is the line up we will see v liverpool

  3. Assuming no more signings

    1st couple of matches
    ……………..Cech
    Bellerin…Gabs…(Mert)…Monreal
    …….Coquelin……Xhaka
    (Iwobi)……..Cazorla……..Alexis
    …………….(Theo)

    Regular starting lineup

    …………………….Cech
    Bellerin…..Koscielny….(Mert)….Monreal
    ………….Xhaka…………Cazorla
    (Theo)…………….Ozil………….Alexis
    ………………..(Giroud)

    HOPING FOR

    …………………………Cech
    Bellerin….Koscielny….New Top CB…Monreal
    ………………….Xhaka……..Cazorla
    Draxler or Mahrez………Ozil……………Alexis
    …………………Higuain or Lacazette

    1. @Arsenal_Girl
I really like the HOPING FOR line up. Prefer Draxler to Mahrez. For the simple reason Draxler is an Arsenal type of player and has a mysterious telepathy ability with Ozil. Mahrez can be a one season wonder, later part of the last season, defenders had figured out his way of play. He was substituted in a number of later games. Draxler just too good – only 23, this guy will be rocking Europe in next couple of years…the speed, vision and an eye for a goal!!

      1. Totally agree with you on Mahrez…..

There is always a chance that Mahrez is just a one season wonder like Michu, obviously someone outside of PL can become a flop too but at least with Draxler we know that Wenger had monitored him for a couple of seasons.

    2. Somehow I doubt Alexis will miss start of the season too, after the Copa injury. Koscielny too might be out for the start, he was playing with a knee wrap around in the Euro final, and looked off the pace. Santi is going to pre-season? Did not hear about him yet. Theo, dont count this guy, he can get injured before the season begins, too fragile

    3. Ramsey might surprise us and have a good season, Coquelin isn’t the best passer of the ball, safe but not able to pick out passes that Xhaka looks like he could for us, Xhaka might be able to unlock Ramseys potential?

Our CM looks strong if we can get players in form.

Xhaka, Coquelin and Elneny all look solid in a tackle, Cazorla is just a little magician.
4 CM for 2 CM roles, nice!
Wilshere and Ramsey might come good but not reliant on them which is nice, I’m hoping the competition now will kick them onto reaching their potential that they shown years ago or out the door and let a couple youth step up.

  4. Nice line up, if you were playing Fifa! Wenger is never going to buy ALL those players in one window! He will also never play that formation!

It’s going to be 4231 for the majority of the season, with a few variations (433, 442, diamond?)

I have faith that Wenger will get another 2 players (to make the 3), he seems to want a striker. So that’s 2, but the question is: is he going to sign a CB or a winger? Or some other position? Will he even get a 3rd player for the 1st team? (assuming Asana and the youngsters

  5. We can’t be certain if the team will be lined up like this. If Wenger wanted van persie he would have bought him immediately. Flamini was no angel if it puts matters into prospective when he left Arsenal he forced his way to Milan. if anything is to go by Arsene may or may not sign anybody this summer on the attacking half of the club.

      1. even if Flamini is rich enough, Kroenke ll never sell his shares… remmber Usmanov is the richest Russian and couldn’t get Kroenke to sell and Dangote also tried more than once..
both Dangote and Usmanov are wealthier than a certain Abramovich
