Arsenal targets on show in crunch England v Wales showdown

England are desperate to snatch a win against Wales today, in order to get their title bid back on target, but the points wont come easy.

Arsenal stars Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey could be set to go head-to-head in midfield tomorrow, should the Gunners youth product get called into the first team, and this duel could prove to be pivotal in the result.

Gareth Bale will no doubt be the dangerman to England’s chances of success, and the best way to stop him would be to cut off the channels used to get him the ball, which will mostly be dealt with in midfield.

Two of our supposed summer targets are also likely to feature during the match, with Ashley Williams and Jamie Vardy linked with moves.

The England forward was left out of the previous match, but with our side showing a lack of accuracy in the shooting department, could be called upon today to help assure ourselves of the full three points.

Williams however will have the chore of stopping us, with the Welsh captain proving to be ever-consistent in defence for both club and country. Swansea have fended off interest in his signature in previous seasons, but with him now 31 years-old, they may be persuaded to cash-in on their defensive rock, with Arsenal keen on strengthening at the back.

Daniel Sturridge and John Stones have both been linked with moves to the Emirates also, but for me they seem extremely unlikely to actually happen, so I will not delve into their availability.

The game will kick-off in around an hour, and I will be donning my England in hope of having something to celebrate come the final whistle!

Do you believe in the Lions today? Or will Ramsey and co spoil the party?

  1. Admin I understand that you’re an englishman/woman but due to the fact this is an arsenal site, the term “our” should only be used when making reference to the gunners.. just saying.

    1. Hes been garbage in the 2nd half.

      Ozil
      Xhaka
      Sanchez(Copa)
      Ramsey

      Which doesn’t belong?

  2. Poor management by Hodgson, hitting the goal was the problem last game, WHY aren’t out almost guaranteed goalscorers playing?

Guess he’s saving them for the second half after Wales get tired…
      Knew England couldn’t harness Bale…

  3. Just as I thought England would have a good chance they are crumbling unbelievable I am disappointed as this was a most win game its the premier league in essence so the tactics most change

  4. To Hodgson. … ” Are You Wenger In Disguise” ?
    ” Areeee youuuuuu Wen-gerrrrr innnnn dis-guiseeee” ?

  5. Some may keep saying No Vardy but I’d take him over everyone we’ve been linked with save Aubameyang. Fighter, scrapper, clear starter.

  6. meanwhile BBC describes vardy as an Arsenal player. There must be something behind closed doors
