The fact that the on loan Arsenal midfield star Jack Wilshere was widely regarded as the Man of the Match when our opponents for tonight AFC Bournemouth won their last Premier League match at Swansea does give the Gunners some hope that our own absentees will be somewhat offset by the home side’s.
Wilshere has become more and more pivotal to their play this season but Arsene Wenger has plenty of his own problems to deal with, as Mesut Ozil has not recovered from his illness and we still have not got Theo Walcott or Kieran Gibbs back from their recent knocks.
We do have some good news with the return of our summer signing Shkodran Mustafi who comes staright back in to renew his central defensive pairing with Koscielny. Wenger has freshened up the central midfield with Ramsey and Coquelin joining Xhaka but it is no surprise to see Olivier Giroud keep his place after that wonder goal.
Iwobi also starts again and he may well stay in the number 10 position with Ramsey going wide. If that is the case though I am surprised that the Welshman has got the nod over Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
