Arsenal’s Lucas to accept pay-cut to leave if Wenger doesn’t?

Lucas Perez is claimed to set to push for an exit from Arsenal this summer if manager Arsene Wenger refuses to leave the club.

The Spanish forward arrived in a £17 Million deal only last summer, but has struggled to break into the manager’s first-team plans this season.

Perez hasn’t failed to impress the fans (especially us at JustArsenal), scoring seven goals in all competitions despite his limited chances, and always seems to do well when given the chance, whether it be in a central or wide role.

The player’s frustrations must stem from the fact that he has played well in the red shirt, yet is continually overlooked, while the team struggles to meet their objectives on the pitch. If there was ever a reason to try something different, why not use someone who has impressed and is not lacking in confidence from the run of results?

Perez is now claimed to be eager to leave the club should Wenger remain in charge, which seems ever-likely at present.

The Spanish international is believed to be keen on a switch back to former side Deportivo La Coruña, and is willing to take a pay-cut in order to secure that move.

Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with a possible move for the forward, but with Edinson Cavani, Julian Draxler, Angel Di Maria amongst those vying for attacking roles, he would be likely to play a bit-part role for PSG also.

It seems unlikely that Depor would be willing to pay the full £17 Million that the Gunners paid only last year, and but he should be able to seek out a potential suitor without too much problems.

Has Wenger been silly to overlook Perez so often?

ALLEGRI is indeed a Master Tactician

    .
Two clean sheets….back to back against one of the best teams in the world!

    .
Wenger can barely even beat Borussia dortmund which were again completely ripped apart back to back by Jardim’s men

    .
I can’t help but say there are too many good managers out there ripe for the plucking
    .
How is it that we are still stucked with a certain french Potato head who’s been injecting us with mediocrity year in & year out?

Simply put, the owner likes money and until the money reduces MASSIVELY nothing will change, even if wenger leaves the rotten core will stay

Even managers like Pulis and Fat Sam would do a better job in ECL than this old dinosaur head at arsenal.

Dude, Allegri has Bonucci and Chielini. I’d like to see him keep a clean sheet with Gabriel and Mustafi at the back.

Everything Lucas did right was deemed wrong by Mr. I-know-it-all. Just get TFO of our club Wenger!

I guess Lucas Perez has realized if you are not Wenger”s favourite you don’t get to play. He should leave before his career is destroyed like Joel Campbell”s, Arshavin”s and Podolski”s.

Does anyone know where Lucas is? There seems to have been a news blackout on him since he got a life and career threatening thigh injury over 6 weeks ago … Only at Arsenal can someone who consistently works hard, assists and scores goals be treated like an outcast.

It goes to show that Wenger does not want Arsenal to be successful. How can you bench someone who has been consistent in his performances? I tell you people, Wenger has lost the plot a long time ago. Expect Giroud, Ramsey and Theo to lead Arsenal again next season.
