Arsenal’s new leaked Home Kit – Do we like pink?

We have all been subject to some ridiculous looking “leaked” Arsenal shirts over the years, but this one seems to be all over Twitter and Facebook so it may actually be genuine this time around.

It has all the hallmarks of a normal Arsenal shirt but I’m not sure about those pink sleeves! Maybe they are running out of ideas after all these years…

What do you think?

  1. The colour of the jersey doesn’t look like Arsenal at all.The finishing on the neck is too casual. We need to do away with PUMA ASAP.

    1. Hmm somewhat sexist remark but the leaked away shirt is pale mint green so make of it what you will. I like it but it could be another fake. As Puma are being dumped in favour of Addidas in 2019 it could be their parting shot at us.
My favourite fake was the one with the huge ghosted cannon on the front.

  2. It’s all just cynical money-grabbing nonsense. We all know what Arsenal strip should look like. Stop buying this overpriced tat that looks as if it was produced for a second-rate tv soap opera. Oh, maybe that’s exactly where we are headed under the current ownership!

  3. Most of the season the long sleeve will be worn and hopefully the light red (ahem ahem) comes near bottom of sleeve.

I think puma have made some decent kits for us in general. Can’t keep all fans happy at the same time.

For example we mostly hear that we should always have yellow away kits, yet some of the blue ones have sold more in comparison (maybe younger generation prefers other colours and possibly buy a bigger percentage of shirts). This year’s black/grey and pink one has been a great hit, same as the third kit from last season.

Obviously the club and kit makers prefer changing kits every year and by changing the colours for away and third kits they can maintain high sales (would you buy two yellow kits in consecutive seasons for yourself or your kid??).

In relation to the possible green colour, Arsenal have had a green away kit in the past. I think i could be a nice touch.

  4. Puma trying to get revenge on us for looking to change sponsors ? l if that kit is real I’ll be fuming lol

  5. I have been a great fan of Puma we have had amazing designed kits from them but i don’t like what i’m seeing with that kit

  6. Who cares about the kit, I think it’s weird grown men dressing up pretending to be footballers. OK for a fancy dress party, if you like that sort of thing?

Personally, think football kits are for kids or footballers.

Where your colours by all means, but replica shirts and beer belly’s just don’t do it for me. Even worse having a name on the back, or your own name or something only you find is funny.

    1. It isn’t about pretending to be a footballer, it is to show your pride, it is about supporting the team you support with frivolous spending when you believe the team warrants it.

It isn’t to try and attract a Atid either, who gives a flying muck what you find attractive, we are not going to be walking on a catwalk wobbling beer bellies and get upset that you scorned some men…

Personally, I think AFC sites are for people who support AFC and do not moan about a beer belly appearance in a replica shirt.

      1. Totally agree, but saying that – I won’t be buying this 2018/19 if it’sauthentic. I buy three each season for myself and two kids but I’ll wait till Adidas this time around. This is the worst AFC home kit I’ve ever seen! Puma and AFC will be loosing a lot of money next season if they don’t reconsider this design.

  7. Are Puma having a lend; Inspector Clouseau and the pink panther(s) ie pussy cats.

  8. It is yuck.
I will not be buying it, not because of the looks, because of Silent Stan and Gazidis.

When AFC start acting like a club with ambition, who wants to win the EPL and compete for top dog… Then I’ll throw all the money I saved over the decade at them.

Until then, I should keep my money saved up and I advise everyone who isn’t happy with the direction of AFC to do the same, keep your cash in a savings account until AFC show the ambition you desire them to show.

  9. I always liked the navy blue shorts and yellow top away kit. Also the black kit.
I never saw the point of that bleeping blue kit.

    1. Kit designs. Yawn! As an older fan, I have never understood or bought into ANY fashion at all. All fashion bores me silly and my brother, who does have fashion sense(poor sap) calls me “Jon Fashion Who” (John Fashanu). When I was a YOUNG kid I wore a red and white woollen scarf knitted by my Granny. After that I GREW UP and realised what a total corporate con ALL fashion is, whether in football, on the catwalk, High Street or anywhere. It is a total con to steal fans money by fooling young kids to pester their parents and also by older fans for themselves who should know better. If you wish to contribute to the cost of Silent Stans obscenely expensive ranch, or the likes of Ozil, Sanchez and every other filthy rich pro players obscene wages, then feel free to disagree with me. But at least do it with your eyes open!
