Betting on Arsenal transfer rumours – Who could arrive this summer?

I found myself trawling the specials betting pages for any exceptional betting prospects for Arsenal, and thought I’d bring you a few I found interesting. If some of you cant hack waiting for the summer to be over, you can always take to Virtual Sports Betting to get your fix. They actually have a section where you can bet on virtual football. Definitely worth a look mateys…

Arsene Wenger has supposedly been asked to stay and oversee a rehaul of the squad, with the current players failing to live up to their potential, and it SHOULD be a busy summer for us.

Alexis Sanchez is an interesting bet for me, and I hope it’s not JUST hope that is swaying me to betting that he will stay with us. SkyBet are offering 9/4 that he stays put when the window slams shut, with Chelsea and Man City both under 5/1 to sign him.

Arsene Wenger also looks set to extend his stay in North-London, so we’ll ignore the next manager betting, and move onto some possible incomers. Daniel Sturridge is a player we have been linked with for some time, and he is firmly expected to leave Liverpool this summer. The 7/1 (8.0) on offer to join us is a little short for this type of bet personally, and his proneness to injury is hardly expected to improve with our side…

Another long-term target of ours is Karim Benzema, who is speculated to be high on our wish-list every transfer window without fail. This week we are again claimed to be making a move for him, and us to sign the Real Madrid striker is priced up at 13/2 (7.5). Every summer a deal for him looks more and more possible, and I expect one of him or Alvaro Morata to leave the club this summer.

Antoine Griezmann is someone who I would obviously love to see us invest in, especially if Alexis was to leave, but I’m not sure the club are willing to pay the necessary fee to prize him away from the Atletico. He’s actually odds-on to join United, but the two bookmakers have quite different views on a possible switch to Arsenal. Interestingly, one has us priced up at 9/1 (10.0) while the other offers 25/1 (26.0)

Everton duo Ross Barkley and Romelu Lukaku are both believed to have rejected contract offers this term, and with one and two years remaining on their deals, could both be on the move this summer. Either would come as a huge blow to the club, but the money generated from such a sale could be invested by boss Ronald Koeman. We are linked with both, although the striker is likely to cost in excess of £50 Million, and as he closes on the Premier League golden boot, he may have a number of potential suitors queueing up.

Barkley is priced up at a tasty 16/1 (17.0) to join us, while Lukaku is as short as 8/1 (9.0) with one bookmaker, but a biggest price 28/1 (29.0) to wear our famous red after the summer.

The campaign isn’t over yet of course, and there is 6/4 (2.5) on offer for us to leapfrog Manchester United in the table, while we are an extremely (painfully) unlikely 66/1 (67.0) to overtake Spurs in the table.

You can also get 9/1 (10.0) for us to finish inside the top four, while the 5/1 (6.0) for us to win the FA Cup may pose as our best chance to finish the season with a high.

Which is your favourite bet on the list? Who do you expect us to sign this summer?

Its not who we want to sign its all about who will come to Arsenal if we are not in the CL and with the same manager and with our salary structure

We will be having a new manager for sure

and we need fans to protest – to have the club directly under the payroll of our 3 billionaire owners…

the fans are always protesting wrongly

Lukaku only cost 70m last season and now its 100m

price goes up for world class players.

Next year it will be 150m and so on….

I’m hearing of a 6/4 odds of Leapfrogging manure into 4th

I don’t wanna remind you of what happens if Manure Lifts the Europa League this yr….which they are on course to achieving…
So basically, if that happens, where does it Leave us?…….. Where we belong

Spudsday night rocks…….bring it on baby!

What’s the betting odds on the Ox,Ozil and Sanchez all running down their contracts and leaving for free? … That should be a decent price, Lump on that ??

In the meantime, stick a few quid on this double: G.Jesus to score the first goal and City to win 5-2. ?

I wouldn’t bother with most of the players mentioned apart from Griezmann. Benzema isn’t much of an upgrade from Giroud and so i would prefer Lukaku if we cannot get Lacazette.
