BOOM! More injury woe leaves Arsenal in a Festive FIX

Okay so the next game for Arsenal is only lowly QPR and it is at least in front of the home crowd at the Emirates stadium on Boxing day, but Arsenal fans were still hoping that Arsene Wenger would have a key player or two back from the lengthy injury list.

And while the manager does have three more Gunners to add to his matchday squad, as reported by, it is unlikely that our second choice keeper David Ospina, young striker Yaya Sanogo or aging attacking midfielder Tomas Rosicky will make it onto the pitch.

The players we really wanted back, such as Aaron Ramsey, Laurent Koscielny, Mesut Ozil and Mikel Arteta are all still out of action. And the news gets worse, as neither Ozil nor Arteta are likely to be available for any of the festive fixtures coming up.

The news on Koscielny is a little better as Wenger is hoping the French centre back will be ready for the tough trip to West Ham on Sunday and that could prove vital with Andy Carroll fit again and finding form. After that the Gunners have a second tough away game against Southampton and Wenger says that Ramsey could make it for that one.

But with Walcott still not match fit and with the players who are fit struggling to cope, Arsenal’s injury situation seems as bad as ever.

Any news on bellerin? If he was fit I would play him in the back 4.

If possible I would drop mertesacker and flamini, they need a shake up ahead of the west ham and Southampton games. I would line up like this.

      Bellerin debuchy monreal gibbs
      Chamberlain coquelin cazorla
      Walcott giroud sanchez

Ospina mertesacker chambers flamini rosicky podolski welbeck

Sometimes I look at Mertesecker’s face and I’m like’ “Damn you, granpa!!! You lied about your age!!!”

We should also trademark the words ‘BANG!’ and ‘BOOM!’ and make them to imply something negative concerning, the already trademarked word ‘injury’.

Off topic : everybody seems to think we don’t need to sign any more attackers or forward,we jus need DM and CB,i don’t agree tho,we urgently need to bolster our defensive side I agree, but I believe after that we shuld also sign a WC forward, all the top clubs ave WC forwards and attackers that support like City’s Aguero and silva, chelseas Costa and hazard,VP and rooney…but at arsenal we only ave 1 half of d equation (sanchez),welbeck isn’t Half WC,giroud is erratic and not WC,Pool with dere poor defence made sure dey outscored dere opposition with suarez, that is an angle we shuld look at,good defence and attack will make gr8t balance.
    I’m sure cavani,martinez,benzema,bony,benteke,pedro,
Destro ,resus etc are a betta option to welbeck, campbell, giroud,at most dey gud for depth and rotation not for Starting 11 of an ambitious club like Arsenal.

Fabregas interview this week: “Mourinho adapts to the players he has. What makes him so great as a coach is that he adapts to any situation and his teams can play in many different ways. It’s a very intelligent way of managing.”

Hahaha!! Nothing amaze me anymore in Arsenal news…… Injury to key players is always the headline…. Leave the injured ones alone and play the uninjured one please.. Why the emphasis on injury as if someone dies. Can’t just wait till summer before Wenger leaves.. Whether he signs anyone or not, I’m never excited about his transfers.

    Business as usual…
Just don’t understand why we are still “swimming” into that circus of injuries…!!
Is it the fragility of the players?
    Is it the training methods?
    Is it the training pitch?
    What the f*ck!!!
