Can Wilshere do Arsenal a BIG favour at Man United?

We do not yet know whether Jack Wilshere will be playing for Arsenal again next season, although the fact that the ankle injury he picked up recently did not end up with the usual long spell on the sidelines must have been a big plus point, but he can do himself and his parent team a huge favour today when he and his teammates from AFC Bournemouth take on Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho and his players will surely be feeling confident after winning the EFL cup final and they are on a long unbeaten run in the Premier League. But every run has to come to an end and we do not need the Cherries to win, just to stop United from winning as that will mean that even if Arsenal lose away to Liverpool later, we will not be overtaken by the Portuguese pillock.

I may be wrong but I have a feeling that United could slip up today and if they do I think our Jack could have a big part to play. He will surely be up for it and not just because he is aware that his beloved Arsenal could do with a helping hand, but because Bournemouth are being dragged into the relegation scrap and need to get back to what they were doing earlier in the season.

Can Wilshere help to give Arsenal a nice boost ahead of our clash with Liverpool?

  1. No. we can do ourselves a favour at an field today, especially if Wenger gets the selection and tactics right. I would prefer to start welbeck and Perez in this fixture.

    1. Perez has some football under belt, I doubt we’ll be seeing both those players start. Maybe a slight chance if Welbz has been looking sharp on training pitches.

  2. Who plays worse under pressure, ourselves or pool. Both teams might sigh if Bourn sneak a point or so. The game later then might see players being a little more relaxed. Today is one of those games that you really need to win, but absolutely must not lose.
