Has there ever been a better time to play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge? Not under Jose Mourinho, I’ll wager. The Slightly Ticked-Off One has overseen the Blues’ worst start to a Premier League campaign for 29 years, with his side sitting pretty at 17th in the table, having conceded the most goals in the league with 12. If Arsenal can topple Chelsea on Saturday afternoon, not only will it be sweet revenge for Wenger’s 1000th game debacle all those years ago, but it could push the malignant Jose ever closer toward the exit. Yes, we can start to dream.
Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho have come up against each other 14 times, with the most recent match the 1-0 Arsenal win in the Community Shield. That was the first time the Gunners have bested a Mourinho Chelsea, and while everyone loves to write off the season opener as a glorified friendly, it has given Arsenal an edge. Namely, they can do it. It can be done. Chelsea under the Portuguese One are not infallible. Leave that to the Invincibles.

Abramovich has begun to show signs of change, he let Cech join us and he refused to keep throwing money so Mour could get Stones which is something they would have done without care. Then he brought in two defenders the club scouted for small amounts, the business they done this season reminded more so of how we might have acted by bringing in one top attacking player for a good price. I think the owner is starting to hear or listen to the billionaire play club jibes, he seems better concerned with money spent and they are getting the stadium and facilities in order ..maybe in not far future they will abide by self sustainability.

We can do it. The lads should go into this one with no fear, smaller teams have had success against Chelsea because they played with full commitment to took the game to them. Our striking force needs to be sharp and I would encourage long range shots to unsettle Begovic. Our defense needs to be on point too and we should avoid giving away silly fouls or corners as our defending on set pieces is still a challenge.
Give Gabi to chew up Costa.

Who knows…what is for sure is that we have to play way better than in any of games so far…they have gaps in defence and have lost two serious attacking options so I hope we are attack minded…team almost picks itself … Reluctantly would say Walcott over giroud with ozil playing behind …. Problem is both of these players are lazy in defence … That probably means Ramsey on right which remains a ridiculous option in terms of quality and balance but ox was hopeless on Wednesday … Unless he wants to gamble on the French kid which I doubt … Man city attack is now aguerro sterling de brute silva …who says height matters!!
