Confirmed Arsenal team to beat West Ham today – No PEA

So Arsenal will play Arsene Wenger’s third-last home game against West Ham United, and I fully expect the Gunners to win all three convincingly – starting with a big scoreline against David Moyes defensive line-up.

Although all the talk from Wenger and Gazidis has been about promoting youth in the future, I still think Wenger will take no chances and go for an attacking line-up. Many of the first team had a breather last week and don’t play again til Thursday, so this is the team I predicted in my Preview…

Cech,
Bellerin, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal,
Xhaka, Wilshere, Elneny
Ozil, Aubameyang, Lacazette

And here is the team that our departing manager has decided on…

He is definitely giving game time to players certain to start on Thursday, so that is why PEA is on the bench and Welbeck and Lacazette lead the line. Ospina is in goal for the same reason…

Ramsey must be fitter than Wilshere but I doubt he will play the whole game, and Iwobi!!!
Where the hell is Ozil? Not on his hols again is he?

Idiots you’d rather he start Ozil and risk him right? And the hate you’ve got for Iwobi is pure.. Just shut up!! support the team snd stop picking on players!! Wait till next season to see how they perform under another coach.
You guys are too toxic i swear

So that’s the line up for semi final.. makes sense they play today and get I sync for Thurs..
My prediction.. Auba off the bench at 70 mins to grab a hat trick once defenders are wilting in this heat !
I hope everyone can now come together and support Arsenal and Wenger for these last few matches at home.

    Interesting.
Can only assume AW is trying to have more or less the same team playing on Thursday. Otherwise I can’t see, why Aubameyang should be on the bench.

Iwobi and Ospina could be just the 2, that won’t start Thursday (berring injuries). But taht is just my guess.

the same players playing week in and out, will communicate and coordinate better

just like Barca where most players have been playing together since 16yo

I heard ozil is ill.. come on he’s been ill at least 10 times since January the man must have a very weak immune system 😂 aubameyang benched? Just proves what’s wrong at arsenal! Roll on next season.

Good to see Wenger still messing things up! Haha. For all those fans that were so sad on Friday, I think today’s team selection is a timely reminder as to why change has been desperately needed for years!

Ramsey, and Kos are very injury prone. If Laca gets injured, we have NO ONE to play upfront against Atletico. Monreal has probably been our best player this season, why risk him as well?

Don’t mind Xhaka, and Mustafi starting, because hopefully Wenger will FINALLY do the right thing and drop them against Atletico.

How Ramsey is laying today and with Wenger still our manager I am more and more afraid for the Atletico games. Ramsey made 4 errors in 1st 15 min, and he is nowhere to be seen except infront of a goal.
Wenger IS out! Ramsey to follow…
and Mustafi, Xaka and a crew

Lacazette needs gametime before Thursday so I understand why he starts over Aubameyang. A lot of changes, but we also have some players out. Lets just hope no injuries and a good result.

Mustafi is really good when it comes to last ditch challenges, but his positioning and man marking is reminiscent of a schoolboy.

Exactly he is a reactive defender like kos was in his early years, he needs someone to manage him on the field. We need a defender who organise the defense, who goes in to tackle who stays back, checking the offside line. Its either kos or mustafi and a commanding defenders next to them.
Kos and mustafi are kamikaze defenders they go all in, its excellent when they are both having a good match but horrible when one is not in form.

And mustafi and xhaka and elneny and Ramsey and Iwobi … Sell these 6 buy two quality midfield players with these funds … Add new funds to Buy 2 quality defenders and new guy should be able to do something

Sue there’s a few where are useless
      Iwobi
      Mustafi
      Welbeck
Elneny although he’s better than the other 3

        Welbeck is NOT ususeless.
        Are Welbecks goals useless?
Is his good work rate useless?
        Is his speed useless?
If he was useless he wouldn’t be scoring any goals

Do you want a Top striker behind Lacazette and Aubameyang? Should we fill our bench with world class players?

Welbecks goals yea he’s prolific 🙈do you watch games and see his missed chances

I mean I bet Utd wish they still had him

He wouldn’t play so many games for any other top 6 side

No creative midfielder is killing our whole system, we need a young creative players who can come off the bench or starts when doing rotation. We also need a skilled dribbling attacking like sane instead of Iwobi who started as a mazy dribbler and risk taker now a boring sideway passer.

We have improved considerablely in set-pieces especially corners this season. This was a beautiful combination goal with mustafi and koscielny making fake runs for monreal.
If we rediscover our beautiful attacking football back next season and kept this new found danger in set-pieces. We will have a good attacking threat.
Now can we get this defense sorted.

ozil is good and creating chances for both sides because he doesnt defend and pressure opponents players
