Manchester City are said to be fearing that Paris Saint-Germain could beat them to the signature of Alexis Sanchez, and Arsenal must be hoping that is the case.
The Chilean is out of contract at the end of the season, and would be allowed to talk to prospective clubs outside the UK from January, and City are believed to be fearing the Paris club will steal a march on their target.
The Sky Blues are expected to come in with an offer to take Alexis to the Etihad Stadium this coming winter, having failed with a deadline day bid back on August 31, and were previously said to be unwilling to allow the Gunners to force them to pay over the odds for the soon-to-be out of contract star.
That stance may well have to change if Alexis is extremely high on their wishlist as perceived, with PSG able to discuss contract terms with the forward upon entering the final six months of his current deal.
The French giants have made waves in the footballing world in recent years after a huge investment from Nasser Al-Khelaifi, and this summer made a huge statement of intent with the major signing of Neymar from Barcelona, a move that opened everybody’s eyes.
PSG clearly mean business, and after losing their first Ligue 1 title in a number of years, they made huge strides in securing their place as the best team in France by signing two of the most coveted talents in world football, the two players most likely to battle it out for the Ballon D’Or for years to come.
There is now reports that Neymar has fallen out with Edinson Cavani, and that he could be offloaded in favour of a better rapport within the squad. Alexis is believed to be one of the players who could replace him.
Would the prospect of joining the Paris revolution prove too tempting to Alexis? Would Alexis form the deadliest of trios with Neymar and M’bappe?

Hahaha, PSG do not need Sanchez. They already have too many skillful players like him.
Namely; Draxler, Moura, Di Maria, etc. What PSG want is offloading one or more of them.
Hopefully Arsenal would be their next destination 😀

Ain’t you tired?! only few weeks ago we started trying to forget about transfers, and few months from now, the bloody transfer talks would be back and inevitable. All you guys can do is still bring some of it now? How irritating can this be? Who cares if Sanchez goes to City or PSG? We fans have already come to terms that we’ll lose him but stop talking about it when we just escaped it weeks ago.

F him, I mean Good Luck wherever he goes … His attitude has been extremely poor as of late. His body language, his on and off the pitch antics are that of a person who doesn’t play for the club anymore, and is only looking out for himself. He checked out mentally from Arsenal months ago, and is just nothing more but a distraction. He’s a mercenary who only stays with the club for 3 years until he gets tired of it, or until his teammates get tired of him, and force him out. I don’t care where he goes anymore. Either City, or PSG will suit him just fine.
Alexis to PSG would be a great break for us. Way better than having him help win points for Man City year after year.
