EPL´s best hands Arsenal BIG transfer boost

Arsenal fans will be keeping a very close eye on the injury situation at the club in the run up to the festive period, because that and the form of the individual Arsenal players and the team as a whole will probably determine whether January will see any transfer action from Arsene Wenger.

Assuming that the currently injured Gunners like Jack Wilshere and Danny Welbeck do not suffer any setbacks on their paths to recovery and that we keep putting in the good performances and getting the right results in the Premier League, then I cannot see the boss being any more keen to add to his squad.

However, there may be other concerns for Arsenal fans in the winter transfer window, namely the danger of some of Europe´s biggest and richest clubs coming sniffing for our stars. One name that is likely to be near the top of the wish list of many a club manager is Alexis Sanchez, whose fantastic form this season has just been rewarded with the PFA Fans Player of the Month award for October.

Some recent Arsenal transfer rumours have suggested that the Chilean is wanted by La Liga giants Real Madrid but according to a Metro report, we have nothing to worry about as Alexis is actually looking to sign a contract extension and is determined to stay at Arsenal and win the EPL title.

If this is true then Wenger should work fast and get him signed up to a new deal as soon as possible and perhaps a big fat release clause would be a good idea as well?

  1. I don’t think we need to hurry concerning Sanchez extension, tomorrow will be huge because If we come out of Germany with a win then I assure every Arsenal fan that teams will fear us.
Still, I don’t think Sanchez will be heading for a team like Madrid where there is Isco, James, Ronaldo and Bale. He won’t get much game time, besides why will he leave a team that has two of the most creative minds in football today in Ozil and Cazorla. I don’t see such happening.

    1. He was replaced at Barca the summer after he scored 21 goals in 54 appearances, he already won a spanish league title, a spanish Cup and a host of other trophies with them, and he has to know he is a star and an absolute fan favorite with us, so I see no reason to go back to la liga.

Not to mention he is ULTRA competitive, so winning the most difficult league in the world seems like something he might like to do in his career.

  2. Lets be honest here, we do need to strengthen our squad,
Be it with young guns or new signings.

We can’t rely on these injury prone key players to put a shift in throughout the whole season.

    Danny Wellbroke
    Arhh-me-hamstrings Ramsey
    A&E Chamberlain
    Physio fullcott

    1. The sad thing is they are mostly english players and if we got rid of them people would then start saying we are not supporting English players…when the true fact is they spend more time on the medical bench than they do kicking a ball!!..

Dont get me wrong I like all of them and know what they bring and can bring to our team but they are just not physically fit enough for a team who wants to challenge for the league.

People here are quick to scream”Wenger out”. But as soon as you talk about getting rid of injury prone English players, they’re after you head…

  4. @Fatboy Gooney, you are funny with those tags you’ve tagged named some of our 1st team Gunners, aren’t you? Bobby, we shouldn’t worry on the likely reinforcement of the Arsenal 1st team squad during the winter window. If the right players for the right affordable Arsenal price that can be an upgrade to the Arsenal squad are available, the Boss will likely signed-in 2 top quality addtitions to his squad I should believe. Even if Walcott and the Ox does fully recovered to play for Arsenal in December before the winter window reopens, the Boss should still sign a top quality striker and left winger to reinforce those 2 positions in his squad that are looking exposed right now. We’ve seen how dangerous it can be not to have a 4th top quality striker and a 2nd or 3rd left winger at Arsenal. As only Giroud and Sanchez are the only viable top options left in the team for those 2 positions as it stands now. But a loanee and an academic Gunner could be recalled and dragged-in to cover Giroud and Sanchez.

  5. He won’t go to RM because he played and won the lot at the best club in the world. Players like him need a challenge and going to a club like RM won’t do it for him. I think lots need changing at Arsenal like back room staff fitness coach a new number 2 that knows what he is doing. Then we need a captain because let’s face it we don’t have one. So for me Ozill give it to him and A S as his number 2. Jan we need to buy simple as that but maybe a few harden EPL players that don’t mind sitting on the bench to come on and do a job. Tonight mr diver will f–k us over and AW will need to talk with the ref before hand. I think he will target FQ and BFG
