Fire of Flamini and Ramsey KEY to Arsenal roasting spuds!

Arsenal may be a more settled team than our north London rivals Tottenham, with more talented and experienced players like Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Santi Cazorla, but we have to earn the right to play.

Some people say that the form book goes out the window in a local derby and although that may be an over simplification, there is an element of truth in it. You expect both sets of players to give it their all as a bare minimum requirement and after that you hope that your creative players can work their magic.

For a large part of tomorrow’s game it will be a battle with very little time on the ball and don’t make the mistake of thinking they will be a pushover. They do have players that can hurt us, so we need to control the game as much as possible. In another game that would mean Mikel Arteta passing them off the pitch, but tomorrow it calls for the energy, tackling and work rate of Flamini. Alongside Ramsey, the Frenchman should provide solid protection to our back four and the ability to combat Tottenham’s powerful central midfielders.

With that platform to build on, Arsenal should be able to break down their defence and really get the season off and running. How do you see the game going Gooners?

  1. Would like a double from both danny welbeck and alexi sanchez against “the spuds” tomorrow at “our home” the emirates! Coyg!

  2. Would love a repeat performance from mesut ozil again like he did against villa! We knocked the wind out of villa, with 3 quick goals! Now i wanna knock the stuffing out of those “spuds” tomorrow! Lets make them never knew what hit them! Coyg!

  3. if wenger just played everyone in his natural position life would be easier and games would be killed after the first half.

remeber he even played ramsey on the wings looked like worse then sunday afternoon 40 plus amateurs. in cm we all know the rest.

  4. “Remy said: “Arsenal, I think they were talking with my agent a few years ago but they never wanted to sign me really because if they wanted they would have signed me a long time ago.”

That’s true. Arsenal had all the opportunity in the world to have signed Remy even before he came to England. That’s why the late bid for his signature surprised me. I wonder why we didn’t move for him sooner? Maybe Wenger was never really convinced.

How can a player not know if his agent is talking to a club. I could do a better job SHOW ME THE MONEY 🙂

    2. Wenger was only interested because he sort of looks like henry but thats where the comparison ends. It made the prof feel happy. It gave him “little bit heartache niggle”
