FIVE Arsenal stars get England international call up

There would almost certainly be two more members of the current Arsenal squad involved for the England national team over the next two weeks if only Jack Wilshere and Danny Welbeck were not currently out of action due to injury. As it is though, three Gunners have been picked by Roy Hodgson for the two Euro qualifiers against San Marino and Switzerland.

On top of that Gareth Southgate has called up our under fire defender Calum Chambers and our on loan striker Chuba Akpom to face USA in a friendly and then Norway in a qualifier. I only hope that the manager gives Chambers a chance on the pitch this time after not using him for a single minute as they crashed out of this summer´s tournament.

The three senior England call ups have gone to Kieran Gibbs, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott and once again I hope that the manager decides to use them. Gibbs and Walcott in particular could do with some playing time in order for them to come back to club duties as sharp as possible.

Monreal has been ignored again by Spain but Santi Cazorla will be heading off, as will Mesut Ozil for Germany, Gabriel for Brazil, Petr Cech for the Czech Republic, Ramsey for Wales, Alexis Sanchez for Chile and our three French internationals Koscielny, Debuchy and Giroud are all in the squad named by Deschamps.

As usual we will be hoping that none of them pick up an injury problem and also that they get some game time and play well. Good luck Gunners.

    1. Nothing makes sense to me at the moment. I feel if you ask Wenger’s relatives what kind of person they think he is and has always been, they’d tell you he’s a wicked, heartless, selfish, insensitive person; he’s probably an evil wizard too (enjoys watching fans suffer).

You don’t know how I feel.

    2. Is Kroenke going to escape with our money and without signing any player?
We will know the answer in 48hrs

  1. Muzzi Uscan (stiLl can’t spell they name correctly), did not folks here say he’s very reliable and that he swore something big was gonna happen?

Where the heck are all the “reliable sources” who know what exactly Arsene is up to? Every year the same thing. Every f**king year!!!!!!!!!

  2. Wenger will sign someone tonight, but trust me, he’s not a starter in his team, or/and a mid table team and call him “top top quality with potentials”.

Don’t be fooled, we never even went for Benzema, Wenger can’t poach a player all his life unless the player is surplus to requirement or has always wanted to leave.

Sign Yarmolenko/Poncheon/Lavezzi/Nabir Filkir. Pls just sign anybody that can score goal and is serious business

Just sign a striker that won’t pop out his tongue anyway he do the customary (miss a chance).

    1. Rightly so why? What is so special about him i am not seeing.Gibbs when inform is still better than him and for some reason peeps hate him.I do not forget players performances so easily and i have a sharp memory.

    2. I think their LB cover is fair enough to rule out monreal. I just wonder how long it is going to be before we see Bellerins first call-up

  3. 4th= playing in 2nd gear with
    5 goal scorers Wellbeck Walcott
    Chamberlain Sanchez and Ramsey
    yet to open their account
is quite good don’t you think?

  4. Anyone else feel that should we not sign a striker, and should Walcott fail to make the position his own, Welbeck should be given at least as many chances as the other two to become our main striker??

    1. Welbeck had his chance last season and failed miserably. Now hear me out, this is just a suggestion: How about we start putting our money on a counterattacking football with giroud as CF and speedsters Sanchez and Chambo/Walcott as wingers? Surely it must be better than passing the ball outside the box for the entire game?

      1. Agree with you apart from Giroud because he is not suited to counter attack. Either replace him with theo/ Welbeck/ or ideally a new striker, but yes counter attack is best tactic for us

  5. Wenger’s gonna sign himself on deadlineday and pocket the transfer budget. He will then go on to score fifty goals on the way to a quadruple. After that he’s sharing his bonus with fans like ny gunner, budd etc because it wouldn’t be possible without their daily ass licking, this is ccoming from a reliable source.
