Form Guide – Why Arsenal will beat Huddersfield 2-0 tonight!

This is an interesting game tonight at the Emirates as Arsenal take on Huddersfield in the midweek Premier League game. After Tottenham’s defeat to Leicester last night it is a great chance for us to pull a little bit away from our noisy neighbours, especially as just a few weeks ago everyone was talking about a ‘shift of power’ in North London.

But this should be a very simple win for Arsenal, but Arsene Wenger has already said that he will not be playing our normal second string team, which is usually who play in midweek, but will be doing his utmost to win. I am not complaining, but with Man United coming up this weekend I would have forgiven him for playing 4 or 5 reserves to rest our very best players, despite Huddersfield’s plucky game against Man City at the weekend. Arsenal are a very short-priced 1/5 to win this game, although Andy Bell from says you can get 18/1 if you check out his special offers!

Okay, so I have made a confident prediction about the result, so I had better justify myself. First of all I must say I’m a great believer in recent form so let’s look at Arsenal’s last 5 home games……

As you can see, Arsenal have scored 11 goals and conceded 1 and won every single game, an average of 2.2 v 0.2, so let’s move on and look at Huddersfield’s last 5 away games…

So they are a mirror image of Arsenal’s home form, with 11 goals conceded and zero scored. That is an average of 0 v 2.2, so are you now seeing why I am thinking that the final score will be 2-0 to Arsenal, whoever plays tonight?

So, as I said Arsenal are a very short price just to win the game, so my advice is to back the 2-0 exact score, which you can get for around 5/1, which looks like very good odds to me!

Get on it!
