All Guns Blazing or some caution for Arsenal tonight?

Boom, boom, boom, all guns blazing! by K.M.

Champions league football tonight folks! How’ve you been? Do you feel excited about tonight? Arsenal are already almost out of the tournament with both feet and yet you can’t seem to brush of the positivity that is coming for tonight’s game.

We slept through the first game like last year and the year before that, and again we’re going for miracles on the return. It probably won’t happen. Monaco are solid defensively, while we are capable of missing quite a good amount of chances.

Today Wenger has his favorite game to play. All out attack! Question is what kind of side do we field for the game? Coquelin has been outstanding but in a game where we need all the goals we can get, does Wenger risk it all from the start or wait for the second half?

I think Wenger will start with Le Coq and Cazorla in midfield. Alexis, Ozil and Welbeck in front and Giroud up top. Walcotts finishing was awful against West Ham so i think he’d end up on the bench. Another player i’m not sure if Wenger will start is Ramsey.

I think Ramsey needs to start, because he brings presence in the box. I think Wenger will start with an attacking minded side, that still features Coquelin and if we don’t score enough or any, he will risk it in the second half. I’d love to see Welbeck and Giroud up top, Ramsey and Cazorla in midfield with Alexis and Theo on the wings.

This will give us a lot of speed, two tall and heavy center forwards and solid midfielders to put through balls. We have a big squad and Wenger has a decision to make as of how committed we will be to go for miracles.

After Liverpools n-th in a row lucky win, we are really tight up there. Everyone is targeting second with City looking really bad and Pellegrini edging towards the sack. We will have a massive game vs Newcastle at the weekend while Liverpool and United face each other in a make or break game.

We almost did it against Milan and Bayern. Has the time come for us to do the miraculous comeback? I really hope so.

  1. i’m being caught between skepticism and optimism… Cuz, Since after the west ham game our players have been too Loud in the media prior the monaco game…….. You and I both know its not good 2 be talking and talking and talking…… But i can only be hopeful…… PLs Arsenal, Turn that Tie

  2. Just looked up liv fixtures, after their match against manu they only have two difficult games left.. ourselves and away che. The newc game is huge and then after that liv, the next two to three weeks will be very telling. Hopefully this will be a great week for us because this is going to be the tightest run in in years, squeaky bums/hair loss/bloody fingernails/pressure.

  3. All Gun Blazing!!!! I predict 0-3 to Arsenal till last minute Rumbo scores 4! Because Arsenal always make me nervous till END!!!

  4. Do not ignore our defensive on this vital game. First goal from Monaco will ruined any hopes left. Hope BFG and Sczesny are not in the starting line up. Afraid I need to turn off my tv early.

    1. Even if Monaco score, it doesn’t change anything from our perspective. We will still need to score three. Agree with about Mertesacker and Szczesny. Ospina will start though, unless injured, but I pray Gabriel is fit enough to start. We need three goals, which means a very high defensive line, so having the pace of Koscielny and Gabriel would be great.

  5. I don’t know whether we can do it know… All I can do is remain optimistic and positive… Seeing it realistically, I can’t see us qualifying through… but the game of football is very intresting… no matter what, we never know what might happen…
I just want to give, the players, whoever will be lined up, the message that just do your basics right. If also, we don’t qualify, I won’t be totally disappointed as I will know that our players gave it their all… but it was not in our fate….

Whatever remains the score… I will still support the Gunners as I have supported them from the beginning… The message I want to give to players is that give it your all, fight like warriors, and if possible snatch back the qualification from them…. If you don’t qualify even still remember, we have the PL and FA cup to end on a high… we can focus on that…
But I want our players to have the maximum fighting spirit as much as possible… Give it for your club, because it gave you your chance to display your true quality, give it for all the fans who have supported you all over the world, no matter whatever happens, they always supported you and they definitely will in the future also… AT LAST give it for the BOSS Le Prof because he was the one who never let you down, who always believed in you, who stuck to you in hard times, who gave you numerable chances even if you were down the form or personal confidence and also remember he will be the one to give you all the glory or the reward you deserve… If only you can fight the whole 90 minutes like true champions… And who knows whether we can turn it around….

We have done it against Inter Milan, we have done it against Barcelona(when they were best team in the world), we have done it against Bayern Munich… And I believe we can do it against Monaco and break the hoodoo of not qualifying for quarter finals…

“If you don’t believe you can do it, then you have no chance at all ”

  6. KM, Arsenal have no any other option than to be prolific in every depatment of tonigt game against AS Monaco FC at the Stade Louis II in Monaco. PROLIFIC is the Gunners winning Key to open this game and take a UCL quaterfinal qualification result to the Emirates stadium tonight. The Gunners will greatly prosper from this game as they are prolific in goalkeeping, defending, transition, accurate passing, counter attack, tackling, free-kicks, conner-kicks, headings, pace, shoving, back-tracking to defend, tight-markings, giving assits to score, attacking, robustness, harassing, penalty taking, buring chances. MY PROLIFIC GUNNERS STARTS: Szczesny. BellerinRhino’KoscielnyMonreal. CoquelinRamsey. WalcottGiroudCazorlaOzil. I start Ramsey as Rocisky is not avaliable. I start Sanchez on the bench as his form is dipped. I start Welbeck on the bench due to his profigacy in front of goal. De Abreu has not start any game after his injury to assess him. So I start him on d bench. Whoever d boss starts MUST be prolific.
