He may not have played a single minute for Arsenal this season, but Emmanuel Frimpong has still made the news a few times. The Ghanaian’s previous forays into the news via social media have sometimes been embarrassing or not really helpful to the Gunners cause, but his latest move will surely endear him to Gooners everywhere.
Frimpong posted a picture taunting Manchester United and their under-fire manager David Moyes after they lost, yet again, this time to a struggling Sunderland team. The only thing that could have made this pic funnier was if it had Robin van Persie next to him with a board saying Emirates on it. Get on it Frimmy!
Maybe Frimpong’s new role at Arsenal is to keep up the spirits of his teammates and take the mickey out of our rivals. And as we enjoy United’s woes, Moyes is quickly turning into Alex Ferguson. Did you hear him blaming the referees for United’s problems? It really is funny, especially when you remember that they have been getting away with murder for years.
As reported by the BBC, Moyes blamed both of Sunderland’s goals last night on the ref and claimed that his poor little hard done to p,layers are having to play against 12 men. He really is having a laugh, I watched the game and both decisions were spot on. And after doing a quick check, I see that United have been awarded the same number of penalties (3) as Arsenal, but last night’s was the first against them while we have had four against us.
If any team has a right to moan about decisions this season it is the Gunners, but Wenger is used to poor referees and has stopped going on about it. Welcome to the real world Moanchester. Now if refs would do the same to Chelsea and City, that would be great.
