Arsenal got away with conceding a late equaliser away to Liverpool in midweek, although it was a bitter pill to swallow for the Gunners, because our main Premier League title rivals Man City had been held to a draw themselves by Everton.
This weekend, however, has seen Man City go ahead of Arsenal on goal difference and that has certainly cranked up the pressure on us to get a positive result today from a fixture that has not been very kind to Arsenal recently, with just one win from seven attempts.
That is why I am asking whether it is absolutely necessary for the Gunners to come back to north London with all three points today. After all, a point will put Arsenal back on top of the Premier League table and although it would be nice to have a bigger lead on Man City, this month was always looking like a big test for us.
A draw today and a win at home to Chelsea next weekend will ensure that Arsenal finish the month in pole position and that, at the end of the day, is all that matters. Of course we want to win but I think it is more important not to lose, don’t you?
To be crowned champions, you must have a winning mentality with the actions to back that up!
This is Stoke City away and not any of the top four team’s, where it would be acceptable to come away with a point.
Yes, our past records have not been good there,
But the past is in the past and thats where it remains,
In the here and now, we go to Stoke to get all the points!
No buts and No excuses are acceptable,
If we are serious about winning the premier league this season, then it is Vital to win every game that we play.

That being said Stoke have beaten Chelsea, United and City at home with ease. We have to be patient, dig deep and frustrate Stoke. They are an attacking team so there will be space.

Man City have seemed to found their form, especially Aguero who in my opinion is the best CF in the premier league (Still remember his 5 goals in one match).
Also Leicester are showing no signs of deteriorating.
We need to have a winning mentality. We are entering the final 3 months of the season so we shouldn’t go to matches in a row without winning
Last week we could have increased our lead but blew it.
If we win today, we will regain our 2 points lead over Leicester and 3 points lead over Man City.
Mathematically we would still be in it with a loss or draw but we will be going backwards, not forwards
