It’s early but Arsenal are unstoppable this season!

I am in a very confident mood as our Arsenal team are in the best form I have seen them in since the Invincibles. We are the best performing and most consistent team in the whole of Europe in 2015 and there is no reason to think we will stop our progression. In fact, if anything, we are at least 50% better than we were at this stage last season.

We are going for everything this year, and I don’t see any reason why we can’t do it. So does Olivier Giroud, who said yesterday: “I think we are stronger mentally this year,”

“We are all fighting for each other. We have a great togetherness and we want to achieve big things altogether. We are showing a lot of leadership, we have team meetings and we all want to contribute and bring qualities to the big matches.

“We are all looking in the same direction and we know we need to be 100 per cent in every game. If someone is a bit tired then someone else will battle and fight for each other. That’s the mentality we need to show through the season.

“If we carry on like that then we will be difficult to beat, especially with our efficiency. I don’t want to look too far forward because we need to keep it up and carry on this momentum. It’s only the 10th game in the league so we’ve got 28 to go, so it’s a bit early.

“We need to keep focused on what we are doing well and it’s for sure that we have a lot of confidence and we want to show that we can get stronger and stronger against the teams who come to play at the Emirates.

“We also want to qualify for the [knockout stages of the] Champions League so we’ve got big games to come so let’s see if we can keep it up.”

Can we keep it up? Yes we can! COYG!!!!

Onwards and Upwards!

  1. Wenger has constantly said it that previously we cudnt compete bcos of lack of finances. Now we hv the finances, we r bringing in quality players and keeping hold of our star players and crucially our veteran players too (dont underestimate that) Wenger now has a good mix of players including a revamped youth system were all the players are top quality and trained to suit the first team needs. Forget the westham n Chelsea results, Expect an INVINCIBLE season from here on. COYG

    1. West Ham beat every top team in England, our loss wasn’t a fluke they were well prepared to win against the big boys and we got caught off guard because it was the first game of the season unlike the other teams.

  2. Hmmm

The season is still young. And we have a long way to go.

We could be unstoppable if the boss gets a DM in January. Injury is lurking around.

    The players are injury prone.

    also we are unstable

    we have wave properties

If injury, instability and reality are substituted into the equation that fully describe the team. it will give a result that suggest,

we might manifest very soon our wave properties. Remember De Broglie’s hypothesis??

How recent results are highly deceptive

    Always keep this in memory.

    Don’t be deceived!!!!

  3. I too have the feeling that something has changed this season. There is a confidence that started last January and now the players really do believe they are the best. Great things are happening at Arsenal.

    1. Things have changed after the Olympiacos game and its for the better – seems like AW’s tongue lashing got to the players..
Great to see players stepping in when Sanchez isn’t having a good game or iznt given the chance to shoot.

  4. I agree with you that the season is still young and there will be several challenges as d season unfolds eg injuries, suspension, poor form. But what I want to stress is d desire d Wenger has shown and wholistic measure taken by Arsene to make sure our fist team never gets depleted. For every position on d pitch we have 2 – 3 established international players, peradventure this players cannot make it to d pitch due to injuries or suspension, one change that has gone unnoticed at Arsenal is d revamped youth system, previously we had few wonderkids at Arsenal, now all the youth players are Wonderkids I mean the whole eleven, I constantly watch them on Arsenal Player. Today’s match against Wednesday will showcase the depth in our squad n quality in our youth system. COYG

  5. Arsenal will not play the Capital One Cup against Sheffield Wed with the majority of the starters from the youth team. Arsenal already have a standing 1st team option starting XI to start in this game at this level of Sheffield Wed level. However, it will interest me to see the much acclaimed youthters, Reiss Nelson and Alex Iwobi included in the Boss’ 18 man squad for the game. And I wonder if the Boss will possibly starts Nelson behind the Gunners striker – Walcott. Is Nelson too young to step into Ozil’s role in this game? Can he even operate successfully in that position of central attacking midfielder remarkably today if the Boss gives a chance, and breaks into the limelight? What of Iwobi? If the Boss brings him on for Joel Campbell who I am thinking the Boss will likely start as attacking right winger? Would Iwobi seized he opportunity by excelling in the game to establish himself in the first team starting XI and start to stand in for Ramsey and Wilshere whenever their not available to play? In this wise, the ball is in the courts of Iwobi and Campbell to play. Arsenal will become unique as they do the greatest thing on the field of play by winning the fifthruple this season. Which no club in the whole of Europe has ever done. That will make the invincible 49 unbeaten Gunners run to become a child play. Then, Arsenal will be renamed as Unique Arsenal or Mighty Arsenal.

  6. Listen Baby Please

    Yes we are unstoppable
Well, except for West Ham, Chelsea, Liverpool, Dynamo Zagreb and Olympiakos matches.
But otherwise, we are freaking Unstoppable
