Jack’s return set to give Arsenal timely boost

If the Arsenal and England star Jack Wilshere had not played 90 minutes for the under 21s on Monday, scoring a great goal which was not enough to help the young Gunners get the win they needed to win automatic promotion to the top division, I reckon that he would be in line for a first start of the season for the senior side on Thursday night.

However, I would not be at all surprised to see the talented midfielder named by Arsene Wenger in the match day squad for the home game against West Brom. I am not sure exactly where he will play if he does get on the pitch against the Baggies, especially as his favoured central roles are currently occupied by two of the Arsenal players in form, Mesut Ozil and Mohamed Elneny, but I do think that the team badly needs a boost at the minute and Jack could provide it.

For one thing it will lift the crowd to see Wilshere back after his latest unlucky injury and for another I think the 24-year old will be able to play without the shackles and lack of confidence that seems to have taken hold of so many of our stars in recent months.

Plus he has a point to prove and a place in the England side for Euro 2016 to secure, so is now the time for Wenger to bring him back and give Arsenal a timely boost to help us ensure that we do not drop out of the top four altogether?

  1. If only he has his sense of passing early n shooting when the need comes. Is this Arsenal? Hmmmmmmmm. Time changes

  2. Jack has missed all
    50 games this season.
    Of course he has been
    paid 90,000 pound
for each of the games he has missed.
This has been Jack’s repeating pattern these last 6 years.
Yet the club just keeps on telling us that Jack will “come good”.
Just like we were told Diarby would “come good” for years.
Now Jack is ready for his annual 5 game per season cameo.
City offered us 40 mill for Jack in the summer but we said no!!!
This time if any one puts in a decent offer for Jack
we need to snap their hand off, take the money and run.

  3. Jack coming back to do what exactly? somebody should tell me please!!!

Jack is a waste just like Djouru was….even Diaby. There’s nothing good about him coming back. Just sell/release Jack, Arteta, Flamini, Chambers, Walcott, Giroud, Ramsey, Merterseker and WENGER!!!!!!!!
