Karim Benzema has ‘total agreement’ with Wenger to join Arsenal!

Wow this could be the shock of the transfer window! On the day that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang returns to the field for Borussia Dortmund showing that Arsenal have failed to reach an agreement with the Bundesliga side, it has now been revealed that the Gunners are now in talks with Real Madrid to sign Karim Benzema.

The report in DiarioGol says that Zinedine Zidane is on his way out of Madrid, especially after getting knocked out of the Copa Del Rey by Leganes, and it is possible that the legendary midfielder could be the France manager after this summer’s World Cup. When Benzema was asked if this worried him, the striker has apparently said to his friends: “Concerns? Any? No, I’m going with Zidane.”

The report goes on… On the sidelines, his immediate step points to London: as Diario Gol has learned, the player’s agreement with his compatriot/friend, Arsène Wenger, who wants him at Arsenal next summer, is total. The only problem is the figures of the transfer: the club ‘gunner’ does not exceed 40 million between fixed and variable Karim to maintain the cache. While Real Madrid requires a minimum of 60 ‘kilos’ [millions].

I know that no transfer window would be complete without Arsenal being linked Benzema, but could it really be happening this time?

      1. Agreed.
A has been who rejected us numerous times, but now no one wants the c*nt he has a “total agreement”
I dislike Wenger more each day…

        1. Agreed with all the above, don’t need someone who realy don’t care about the club we just got rid of one, back to Dourmund pls Arsen

          1. I also agree with the above posts. I feel there’s a battle going on here, Wenger wants Benzema and Minsilat wants Aubameyang. Give me Auba any day of the week. Benzema suddenly wants to join Arsenal now he’s career is finished, the cheek of it, turned us down for years and now stubborn Wenger wants him over Auba just to get one over Minsilat and show him who’s boss. Get Wenger out before he does more damage to our club.

    1. Wenger and Arsenal do not intend to sign Aubamyang. I think they went to price him while Sanchez was moving so that we will think they have a replacement, and that will keep us happy at least until the window is over. And they will have the excuse of trying but not actually doing it like in the case of Suarez. They have use covered.

  1. Auba starts….. Deal off…. Wait! it wasn’t even on in the first place.
Wake up deluded fans…. Wake up…. Wake up…….

    1. I just heard he’d started as well. It’s a good job we have the ever reliable “kev” to keep us updated with all transfer business, accurate as ever eh!

    2. How can Arsenal FC not have 60 million for Aubamyang! Premier league will resume next week, the window will probably be over and the fans will suffer for bad performances, and Arsene will say they tried to sign a player!

  2. Like I actually think amangyang not worth 70£ million but u have ask wher is all our cash going all the sales, I mean series questions have be asked durtmund have come out and said arsenal don’t have da money like wat is going on apparently wba didn’t like da offer from arsenal either ud imagine for both players were after it cost £90 million for both same money we put up for lemer mmmmmm very suspicious ?

  3. What would be the total expenditures of Club officials in the failed negotiations during the last five years?

    1. Failed expenses? Not from their point of view. They were never serious about actually buying the propsed players at all. Merely wanted a drink filled jolly abroad. This is how our club pisses on us all the time and some naive Gooners EVEN NOW, actually believe these frauds. It grieves me though as a fan for 60 years to see these fine , young but impressionable fans being taken for a ride by this morally corrupt club of ours year after year. Young people cannot obviously have much life experience BUT they (or their parents) still pay for them to attend and to buy shirts etc and this shyster club continue to rob them. This is precisely why I stopped attending early last season after coming for 59 years – 35 as a season ticket holder and regular home and away for many years too – as I have to make a stand and refuse to give my own hard earned money to these dishonourable custodians any longer. I still support the club, for historical reasons but want all the PRESENT filthy regime out . NOW!

      1. Jon-Your sentiments are felt. You have made the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE in your beliefs to stop attending. As much as I deplore this regime I could not do what you have done and in fact I tell people I go now in spite of Wenger and not because of him.Sir I applaud your beliefs.

      2. 100% Jon, if this Auba deal fails to go through I’ll look upon it as a complete lack of ambition and I will be joining you on the armchair, guaranteed.

        1. As you know Jon, as far back as we can remember, the late fifties, Arsenal Football Club epitomised the word class. From the uniformed commissioner at the old main entrance in Avenell Rd to the police band marching around the pitch at half time, the refusal to have any advertisements anywhere in the ground or in the matchday programme, run by the honourable Hill-Wood family, but now all has changed. I understand the need to move forward with the times but ever since this Sh** American owner has taken over the word class no longer exists at Arsenal Football Club. It’s now a club that extorts money from the fans wherever it can, for example £2000 appro, a season ticket (most expensive in the world) £2-50 a bottle of water or cup of tea lies to fans about it’s ambition and demonstrates it’s thirst for money whatever it takes and is now a club I hardly recognise. Sadly I don’t think it will ever be the same, not in my lifetime anyway. Sign of the times maybe

  4. We were never going to sign Aubameyang,Wenger and Arsenal are a bunch of jokers they do this every time. This reminds me of the Suarez deal that never happened where they talk a big game then up bottling things

    1. It does feel like a smokescreen.
      Case in point
Summer transfer window: Heavily linked to Lemar,Mbappe. None of them joined
2016 window : Linked to Lacazette , got Perez instead.( who was a plan B for Vardy, by the way)
Higuain ( Remeber those talks about swap deal with Napoli,Giroud going the other way. Giroud even stated he was ok to go)
2015 window : Benzema links.. Benzema’s instagram post.
Vidal..Everyone claiming Vidal was joining us..went to Bayern instead.
      2013 window : Higuain, Suarez
      Signed Ozil instead.

  5. Benz was “wanted” at the Arsenal some years ago . Right now we dont need him and he has had Much too Much success in suuny Madrid to come and labour in the cold soggy epl where “smaller” teams dont roll over and die even when they are 0-4 down with 10 minutes to go especially when they play Arsenal. That’s why man city keep scoring until the final whistle . Took Pep one season to figure it out. Let’s just get our other targets over the tine before d day namely Auba and Evans. If we dont get them now no chance in summer .

Rumour is gaining tracktion that Real M is Shopping big in the summer (hint: Barca spent unholy amts on Demb and Cout. Plus Madrid look like Pensioners this season). Word has it that the premiership is their preferred supermarket for Prime Targets. If they get the players they want then we probably see our january targets move to our competitors for inflated fees in the summer if we fail to secure them now. Having sold Gibbs, Walcott, schzsesny, Gabriel, Coquelin and Ox and Mertesak retiring. one would think the freed up wages and transfer fees would accommodate our targets this january. And the presence of Auba. Ozil (new deal) Lacazete and Mikitaryan in the same team would attract more quality in the summer

  6. Old man , almost past it, Benzema? No thanks and no way! Wasn’t that good at his peak and way over the hill now! Wenger used to be linked only to young players. Now, Evans, Benzema , Aubameyang, all virtually middle aged. Lost the key to Peter Pan land have you Wenger!

  7. I have NEVER understood why he is in Real Madrid, NEVER rated him, NEVER seen him play well. Has he ever been the third highest goalscorer in La Liga after Messi and Ronaldo?

  8. I’m not that bothered either way about Aubameyang, there has to be a reason why no one else appears to be interested in him, we all know about his disciplinary problems, but is there something else?

As for Benzema, no way do I want the piece of dirt playing for us.

It looks like for the foreseeable future, we’re going to have to accept that we’re only going to sign the flotsam and jetsam from other clubs

      1. Chelsea dont need him more than us. Chelsea are happy with Morata. Morata started the season brilliantly but just like Lukaku and Lacazette has gone off the boil in the last month or so. Chelsea want to get rid off Batshauyi ,because he hasnt made any impact coming off the bench as his replacement. What Chelsea are looking for is a target man. Someone like a Giroud who can come off the bench and score crucial goals and save/win points.
Arsenal, on the other hand, have just sold our top goal scorer. Alexis scored 30 goals and provided 19 asssists last season. So we have to bring in someone who will compensate for those goals and assists. This is why we need him more and absolutely have to get him.

    1. Yes,the reason is all big clubs already have top forwards.
      Bayern : Lewandowski,Muller
      Juventus : Higuain,Dybala,Mandjukic
      Psg : Cavani,Neymar
      Barca : Suarez,Messi,Alcacer
      Real : Ronaldo,Benzema,Bale
      Atleti : Diego Costa,Griezmann,Gamiero
      City : Aguero,Jesus.
None of these teams need a first team striker,if at all these teams need a striker who can come off the bench and score goals. Wherever Aubameyang goes, he would have to be first choice, that’s why none of these teams are in for him.
      Chelsea dont want him because
      a) They just signed Morata who will always be their first choice.
      b) For a bench striker(what Chelsea are looking for), Aubameyang is too expensive at 60 mill for a 29 yr old.
      c) They want a target man and not a dribbler who excels on his pace. Hence why they are linked to the likes of Caroll,Dzeko,Giroud. You never know they might end up with a Benteke or a Bony even.

Having said that, I do believe this is our only chance to get Aubameyang. If he doesnt join us this window, then he’ll definitely be replacing Benzema at Madrid in the summer.

  9. If Karim benzim zimmer became available ,wegner would buy him because he’s been after him for years ,even though the player refused to leave in the past ,but now that his popularity amongst the madrid fans are at an all time low suprise suprise arsenal becomes his preferred destination ,but as far as i’am concerned ,we have to many has been’s at the club .WEGNER OUT.

  10. Monitoring Arsenal’s transfer ‘dealings’ is like watching a series of the TV series ‘Hunted’.

        1. What about catch phrase.

This is the one that Wenger blames refs, seen it.
Oh look and this is the one when our big player joins a hated rival, seen it.
Whoa! this next one is when Wenger alludes to having a really strong squad already, seen this one over ten times now.

  11. This the same Benzema that’s playing for RM right now? ]

Tragic transfer window when we are back to Benzema.

Fantasy world. Anyway, Giroud will be like a new signing…

  12. What is it with our club? We are the epitome of ‘buy cheap, buy twice..’ He was decent 4 seasons ago but a 30 , in a misfiring Real Madrid side, why is he the type of player we want to build for the future? He’s f**king 30!!!

Our club buy players who a view to the worldwide merchant value over what they will bring to the team.

    Absolute shite!!

  13. BVD currently losing at home and Auba playing.
RM currently winning with Benzema playing.
Thought the kid, Green playing for Yeovil against Man U last night looked better than both of them!

  14. A few days left in the window and at this point we have a weaker first 11 and a weaker squad than when it opened … When are fans going to wake up to the raping of this club by greedy corporate tools, including the manager

  15. I really don’t understand why we delude ourselves every transfer window. Who is actually negotiating these so called deals. Who is saying they aren’t paying the money. Just go in there pay the money get the man. We piss around every time. Lemar is now going to Liverpool because we pissed around. We lost out on Suaraz was we pissed around. Pay the money get the men, and move on. What are we waiting for.

  16. Wish we would stop acting like a contestant on Dave Dickinson’s bargain hunt and just pay the money for Aub. The Benzima rumours always do the rounds every window, just repetitive journalism, even so he can just jog on, he’s not wanted.

  17. what a bunch of incompetent people this management have once again showed the whole world they are disrespecting another team who do not want to sell us their best goal scorer do they really believe their own hype thinking we are still the invincible team we was in 2004 and every one of them have to say ok have him . he wants to come for wage hike and they have more than likely got someone lined up younger and cheaper and just as good why should they sell to us .either pay up or shut up you morons in charge i have had enough of this management now to the point i cant really be bothered until they are gone. they are like an unloving spouse who doesn’t give a shit about you

  18. Cmon Wenger, we don’t need benzema, get Aubameyang and use the money for benzema s**t for CB and a strong defensive midfielder, I can see the old man love French players. I hope he leave at the end of the season
