Key Arsenal man rules out exit to win titles with us

Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has been talking to the press again, further denying any chance of leaving the club.

The German international has been linked with a return to Spain with Barcelona claimed to be interested, but Ozil is more than comfortable in North-London, and believes he can fulfil his dreams of a trophy haul without switching clubs.

‘I still have two more years after this season, I feel… as I have said that in the past, I feel really good,’ said Ozil, who was speaking exclusively to BT Sport.

‘My team mates are great, the city is great, but as said, you can never tell what will happen in football. But I have two more years after this season, and yes… as I said before, I am very happy here.

‘I always want to play for the biggest teams in the world, and in the competitions like the Champions League and it is my goal to win many titles, and I know that I can win titles with this team but to achieve that we need a big squad, if players get injured, it’s just like that.’

‘We know that Leicester has had a fantastic season. They have of course surprised everyone in the world, but there are still some games ahead of us and anything can happen in football. It is our aim to fight right up to the last minute and in the end we’ll see if it’s enough for us or not,’ Ozil told BT Sport.

‘As a football player you always think ahead and I know that they still have a few games in front of them that will be difficult. It is has to be our aim to be there when they lose some points and we win our points and now it is also an important game for us on Saturday against West Ham. We have to definitely get the three points there and that’s what we want to achieve.’

The trip to Upton Park is going to be a fierce local derby, and the Hammers have been extremely tough to beat this season, but we arrive in top form, and should be able to assert our dominance.

Can Ozil inspire a win and keep our (slim) title hopes alive?

    1. hi all they are not pretenders now they are going for for the title no need to lie. a team that can suck up pressure for 15 minutes every game is no joke we did that the first season we bought Ozil and it worked to honest to buy Ozil and Sanchez was best thing for Arsenal ahead of Suarez. because we were going to go back to the same thing our main striker leaving us.

  2. Today they wanna stay, moro they wanna leave….we shall see!
