Man United extremely confident of signing Alexis – Just get it over with!

After everybody (including Arsenal fans and TV pundits) thought that Alexis Sanchez would be a certainty to get a chance to rejoin Pep Guardiola at Man City, it now seems nailed-on that the Chilean will be moving to Man United instead.

Everyone knows that SkySports is the most well-connected source for transfer information and they are reporting today that United are extremely confident that they have put together a package that will satisfy both Arsene Wenger and Alexis himself after agreeing to match Arsenal’s asking price of £35m and pay £5m to his agents for negotiating the deal. On top of that they have offered Sanchez more than £350,000 per week, which means an extra £18m a year in his bank account.

According to the report, even moneybags Man City are refusing to match those figures, which is quite amazing in itself! But we will certainly know for sure after on Sunday, Wenger said: “It could happen today or tomorrow or not at all.

“He could have moved today or yesterday or not, but it will be decided in the next 48 hours. He is on standby so I decided not to bring him today. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to play.”

So please, can we just get this deal finalised so we can find out who we are getting in? Pretty please….

        1. Even if we sell and buy FIFAPro 11 with Wenger incharge, it won’t make any difference. Bring world best player to come and play for Wenger, trust me the player will look ordinary. The only solution to Arsenal problem NOW is Wenger OUT!!!

    1. we knew alexis will leave. if we get some money whats the problem? i say sell ozil too get 20/25mil doesnt matter.we need money.

      1. Excuse me? “WE” need money. Well I do and perheps you do but any money from Alexis’s sale goes to Kroenke and therein lies the problem with our corruptly run club. Money goes into his wallet but never leaves. He is a catastrophic owner and until he is forced out by TOTALLY EMPTY GROUNDS and a sharp decline in his investments value, he will stay. Its up to us all. If we want him out enough with then a chance to revive our club, we ALL stay away. But if we – and the countless tourists – keep turning up, we keep the snake Kroenke and continue to decline, hopefully eventually enough to force him to sell up. What a choice. Death by blood letting or by starvation. I am seriously thinking of using a hypnotist to wipe my lifelong love for this now morally bankrupt club out of my brain. Then I can at last take up my other life long passion, watching paint dry, which is far more interesting than watching Arsenal under Wenger, these days.

        1. The last time i check kroenke owns the club. Except you have away to blackmail him into not selling Sanchez you won’t have your wish.

    1. u know i used to like chile
was gonna call my son arturo vidal and everything
      i hate chile now
my nan served me chile con carne yesterday

SO I SERVED HER AN ASS WHOOPIN’

      1. We have sold:

        RVP (got them title)
Fabregas (indirectly and got them title)
        Cole (got them multiple titles)
        Nasri (got them title)

        We’ve got:

        Welbeck
        Cech
        Benayoun
        Gallas

In other words, Arsene Wenger is the whipping boy of the other clubs. Others get our performing players, we get trash others don’t want anymore.

          1. I jumped off my chair with sheer joy, when Sky News reported that Arsenal had conned £7 million fom City for Calamity Clichy, whose dozens of mistakes are second in the list of Arsenal history , second behind only Wenger who has a lead IN MAKING MISTAKES that makes Man City’s lead look like nothing. Who else on here remembers when we were 4-2 up against the Spuds after 90 minutes , when Calam fell over in sheer fright when in possession of the ball but faced with two Spuds players, standing(not tackling though)nearby. It finished 4-4. Most of our long term crap stays for ever, Walcott, etc but we finally ditched CALAM. Be thankful for small mercies Gooners.

  1. We are still selling to united?
Arsene you are full of lies and lies and lies. YOU ARE A DISGRACE.
Instead of saying Alexis’s future will be decided in the next 48hours why can’t you say you will be going in the next 48 hours.
Even a goat is not stubborn as this.

  2. i’m surprised at City Sanchez with a four year contract is worth at least 100M these crazy days,

i would of signed him ans sold him next year 🙂

  3. TRANSFER NEWS JUST IN!!!
    ive spoke to my sources…
thats what youve resorted me to arsene-!!!!
i now talk to ketchup bottles and mayonnaise

    1. Oh! I saw what you did there! And BTW, it’s when they start talking back to you that it’s time to worry!

  4. I was thinking that Alexis to ManUtd news is just media toying with Arsenal fans wanting more clicks as possible.
Now, I dnt know anymore. He wont win big with them as long as Mourinho is there, so if he goes it is for money and maybe Mourinho promised him special treats for his dogs… not very smart move!

  5. Well it’s hardly surprising- the business model that is now Arsenal could not afford to be choosy at this stage and in the summer Alexi would of been free
To go to whoever he liked – for free!

So in all honesty it’s irrelvant who he goes to at this stage, there is no choice in the matter.

Perhaps we will get a player out of it – but probably not. He just needs to go now and this whole sorry saga needs to end so we can move on.

  6. 35 m is very good for 29 year old players who have 6 month contrac left.
    Sanchez is underperformance this season.
Dont worry, he will not bring rvp effect to manutd, since they also have same problem with us.

    1. True, but Wenger has lied to us however you put it.

He’s pathological liar who will lie for his own gain.

      1. I dislike Wenger as much as the next bloke, but at the end of the day, wenger probably isn’t the “one” making the deal to sell to United.

      1. To muffdiver
Pull your head out and answer the question .If they where that good ie world class ,their clubs must have seen something wrong to have sold them.

  7. So as if yesterday wasn’t bad enough with us being cr*p and Ox playing out of skin, scoring assisting and milking the raucous atmosphere at An field.
I wake today to hear sanchez is a dead cert for MU, (makes me feel sick to see any of our players go there and that was before Jose came who I can’t stabd). The rumours are the next player MU will target is Ozil. So next year not only will we be cr*p again probably but I’ll be subjected to watching Ox, sanchez, ozil and maybe even Walcott doing well in the PL something that didn’t seem possible at Arsenal. As a lot of the pundits said this weekend there is a real crisis at Arsenal now not helped by the stadium that has absolutely no atmosphere whatsoever.

Ot what is going on with Kolasinac whys Wenger not playing him?

I hate being an Arsenal at the moment it shouldn’t and doesn’t need to be this painful.

          1. Yes, indeed you do have a life. A life that does NOT include wishing Arsenal better or even in a small way, trying to do something about it, by campaigning for a complete change of those responsible for ruining it, which BTW, includes those who who support this corrupt regime.

    1. You missed one positive of the day though. City’s unbeaten streak came to an end. After all the mayhem, that result still made my day.

  8. According to Guillem Balague Arsenal are in advance talks with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
If we get him then this would amazing to partner Lacazzate…. Fee could be in the range of 53 Millions Pounds…

  9. Tell Manure to F Off unless Martial or Mikytarian is
    included in the deal.

I would love to see PA or Malcolm added to bolster the attacking lines but will either of these two gents
maximize there talents under Wenger? A resounding hell no.

The best transfer decision AFC can make in the month of January is to find a replacement for Wenger and let him hit the ground running immediately with the new backroom staff.

Any money spent with Wenger in charge is simply
rearranging chairs on the Titanic at this point

    1. I don’t mind you stealing my “deckchairs on the Titanic” phrase. You are most welcome and I wish it could be lead item on the BBC 6 o’clock news. Anything to convince the last few delusionals who still love Wenger , of his insanity.

  10. We are turning into a joke. The board and Wenger have made a laughing stock of the league.
I just dont have it in me to support the club under the leadership

I pray for better days soon

  11. Wenger shafting us again.the man has no shame.for the love of god.go now Wenger & put us out of our misery.oh & bring syrup with you…

  12. Why is everyone so surprised and upset about this? He (Sanchez) clearly doesn’t want to be here so let him go. He’s 29 years old, and is probably looking for the last big payday. I don’t blame him at all. I’m just surprised that he’ll go to ManU as opposed to City because it looked like he wanted to reunite with Pep, and win more trophies with him. So he’s a mercenary after all, and I will lose even more respect for him if this move happens. But since football is a business nowadays more than it is a sport, he’s gotta look out for himself and make as much money as he can at the same time. So it’s a catch 22. You can’t please everyone. Either way, thanks for the memories, and good luck to our Little Chilean Le Sulk. Watch out for Mourinho though. It’d be funny if he ruins him and his confidence just like he did to so many other of his players (Mata, Mkhitarian, Schurrle, and so on and so forth).

    1. Just maybe Mourinho has promised Sanchez and particularly his agent, more money plus a guaranteed start, which Guardiola can’t match?
Sanchez has probably more chance of starting every game at Man U.

    2. Its more why are we in this situation, roughly about 12 months ago Sanchez came out and said he wants to stay just pay him what he deserves.

But the arrogance and stupidly of our board and manager did not want to pay him. NOW LOOK.#
we are losing him to a rival team we are making them better again

  13. We could sign Messi and Ronaldo and Wenger would find a way to destroy them!
    Just don’t get it!
Apart from Wilshire yesterday we were massively poor in mf what happened Arsenal have got lots of Mf players that are good and don’t need anymore?!
Targets I’d take that aren’t totally unrealistic are Tadic and Lazini.
About time some our players stopped getting injured as well what’s going on so many of them out at the moment.

    1. Did you notice OX hasn’t got injured in liverfool, if he is still in Arsenal he would have been parading the physio room.
Arsenal are a mess from top to bottom.

  14. its Money cause if it was trophy’s it have be Man City my guess I think pep don’t like how Sanchez is acting if I was Man City fan I wouldn’t want him I use love Sanchez but he’s true colors are showing arsenal have try offer nice package now I think he’s been bit greedy with everything but who can blame him we’re shambles from top too bottom I don’t care where he goes I don’t care we’re ozil goes and by looking at lacasette he looks like he wants out as promises have been broke he came play with Sanchez and ozil and he gets welbeck and iwobi not fair really, I just want wenger gone because them players are not playing for him a lot is not rite and we as fans are paying for it but I don’t care anymore don’t care who leaves who comes in club is dead watch Liverpool yesterday boy was I envy ahwell let’s see what happens

  15. Rumors are that AFC have set up Auba as Alexis replacement, going to cost AFC around £60 million and will be announced after Alexis has been sold.

Lets see if it comes true…

    1. Wenger’s even trying to stop that, according to reports, because he may be hard to manage – it seems he is hell bound to anger the fans as much as he can, for what reason I am unsure. Even David Moyes could run the club better at the moment.
