Whether Arsene Wenger will go through the door to bring the France international forward down to north London this summer is another matter, but it appears that Anthony Martial is at least going to open the door to a possible transfer to Arsenal.
According to a report in the Daily Express the 21-year old who won the 2015 Golden Boy award after his great form for Monaco, has made the decision to move on from Old Trafford after his impressive debut season did not continue under the new United boss Jose Mourinho.
The report goes on to claim that the Portuguese manager is not planning to stand in the way of Martial moving on, and why would he if the transfer rumours linking the club with another round of massive summer spending are not completely off the mark?
The young Frenchman may not be the really hot property that many Arsenal fans are hoping for the boss to sign this summer but I reckon he would be a great addition who would soon find his feet again and start producing the sort of form that made our Premier League rivals make him the most expensive teenage transfer in football history just two years ago.

Arsenal’s £31million bid for Thomas Lemar has been rejected by Monaco, according to David Hytner of The Guardian.
Monaco have been saying for a while that they will not sell both Lemar and Tiemoue Bakayoko in the same summer and with Bakayoko on the verge of joining Chelsea, Arsenal could be left frustrated in their attempts to sign Lemar.
21-year-old Lemar is keen to work under Arsene Wenger but Monaco are adamant to keep hold of some of the star players who led them to a league title win and as such, they are refusing to sell the player to the Gunners.
According to Hytner, Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev told the Gunners that they are not even willing to negotiate a sale for a player who they have under contract until 2020.
Having already sold Bernardo Silva to Manchester City and with Benjamin Mendy and Bakayoko close to sealing moves away, Arsenal look to have left their attempts to sign Lemar too late.

4) aubamyang goes to liverpool/utd, lukaku goes to chelsea, city buy 3 or 4 more players including alves(which could be the signing of the summer for me, absolute no brainer)
5) we buy a midfielder whilst holding onto all of the patients at Arsenals general hospital and there astronomical wages while losing ozil and sanchez for not paying the going rate.
Then next year squeeze into 6th place. Europa league is going to trash our season even more than going out in the last 16 of the champions league.

Anthony Martial has taken to social media to deny reports he wants to leave Manchester United.
The 21-year-old forward joined the club two years ago for £36 million, but has been linked with a move to Arsenal should United sign Alvaro Morata and Ivan Perisic.
However, Martial posted on Twitter: “The rumours are false.”
