Milan or Chelsea may still hijack Arsenal’s deal for Kolasinac

It was reported everywhere towards the end of last week that Arsenal had tied up a deal to sign the Bosnian defender Sead Kolasinac, but apparently they have agreed personal terms but the free-agent is yet to put pen to paper on the deal as there may be other counter-offers.

According to SkySport Germany, the deal with Arsenal was a done deal, but the English Sky is saying that AC Milan have also been in talks with the versatile left-back, and also report that Chelsea were one of the first to speak to Kolasinac in January.

But it is obvious that nothing has been finalised as the player’s father has publicly announced that a decision has not been made. Kolasinac senior told Bosnian TV station N1 Sarajevo: “Next week we will decide everything.”

It would appear that Arsenal want (and need!) a complete overhaul of the squad this summer, and if Wenger is staying and intends to offload all the players nearing the end of their contracts, then he would prefer to get their replacements all lined up before letting them go. Le Prof is notoriously hard-nosed when it comes to transfer deals and is always looking to buy as cheap as possible while holding out for the best price when he is selling any of his own players.

One thing is for sure is that if Chelsea come in with a slightly better offer then we will lose out on Kolasinac. The Blues are always willing to pay higher wages than us, and I think they can safely guarantee Champions League football next season, whereas Arsenal will need a miracle to get there this time around….

  1. Question is why didn’t we agree a deal for him in January??

In football manager you always snap up those with expiring contracts on january 1st to beat the competition haha

  2. The board members and directors (Gazidis) are really the people blame for Arsenal failure, not just Wenger. Why? Fans need to stop being so shallow, the people who run clubs are the executives, they chose the direction and vision of the club, not Wenger. Wenger just follow orders.

Think about it, many of our key players ft 1-2 seasons after the invincible season, we were among favorites for UCL/PremierLeague/FA CUP even in the international stage. These players refuses to blame Wenger, but “certain people” in the club (boards) who refuses to offer Ashley Cole the 160k he deserves and gotten at Chelsea, Vieira at Juventus, even Hleb at Barca, RVP,Nasri, Clichy.

If our boards were that ambitious, they would have force Wenger to slap Sanchez that 300k a week or we probably had signed the likes of Griezmann, Suarez, Benzema by now.

Wenger is just the Manage-er, not the one who decides how many pounds on the transfer war chest. I wouldnt be suprise if Alex Ferguson came out of retirement, manage Arsenal and will still fail due to our unambitious BOD.

    1. Wait until you oneday hear that wenger has fired one of his employers!

      .

Then you’d know how much power he got [& don’t even be surprised that dude maybe a major shareholder]

  3. Haha cmone gunners we win one game and wenger can stay lol. Wenger needs to go, we are regressing. An overhaul is a job for a younger and new manager who will stay for longer. If wenger stays for that overhaul then 2 years is not enough its more 4 years he might be around. Why do guys think wenger is the best choice for the overhaul? If we wenger stays ill know that arsenal has very big problems and we will turn into a mid table team soon . this is because teams want epl and we wajt top four can you beat this teams for the top four spots? I dont think so. Wenger out!!!!
We need sanchez to stay and also ozil. I think the new manager should decide who stays and who goes.
