Official teams and preview of Arsenal v Galatasaray

Arsenal will want to get their Champions League campaign back on trach this evening and we have a great chance at home against Galatasaray. And not only will a win put us back in a good position to at least qualify, a good performance will go a long way to banishing the memory of the poor showing against Borussia Fortmund two weeks ago.

Arsene Wenger has the usual injury problems to contend with and the Frenchman will also have one eye on the trip to Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday. That is probably the reason for him leaving Jack Wilshere out of the starting line up tonight.

So the Gunners start with Mathieu Flamini, Santi Cazorla, Alexis Sanchez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Calum Chambers keeps his place at right back. It looks like a strong attacking line-up and Wenger will want us to start well and put the Turkish opponents under severe pressure.

Szczesny
Chambers, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs
Flamini
Alexis, Ozil, Chamberlain, Cazorla
Welbeck

subs: Ospina, Coquelin, Bellerin, Rosicky, Wilshere, Campbell, Podolski

Arsenal have a strong looking defence and with Flamini in front of them, hopefully we will not be in too much danger from the counter attack. We also have a few good options on the bench in case things do not go according to plan. COYG!

  1. Welbeck is on the left on the right and through the middle, I think he might be enjoying himself tonight.

      1. And he has just let us have a striker that can score 25/30 goals per season. I hope we get more greatness from him 🙂
