Official teams and preview of Arsenal v Hull

Unless there is a problem with the Arsenal and Germany international striker Lukas Podolski, it looks like his time at the club could be up because, not only does Arsene Wenger leave him out of the starting line up once again for the visit of Hull City, Podolski does not even make the bench.

After his recent complaints about lack of playing opportunity and the boss stating that he was part of the plans for Arsenal, this must be a real kick in the teeth to the German if he is fit. It is the dynamic Englanmd international Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain that gets the nog from Wenger.

So the Ox will probably start on the left with Alexis Sanchez on the right but the pair can happily change sides during the game. Cazorla and Wilshere will operatre behind Welbeck and Flamini keeps his place to offer the inexperienced and injury hit back four some protection.

Hector Bellerin comes in for the suspended Chambers and Monreal comes into the centre, with young Semi Ajayi on the bench. Another name on the bench will be a big boost to Arsenal fans, that of Aaron Ramsey.

Szczesny
Bellerin, Mertesacker, Monreal, Gibbs
Flamini
Alexis, Cazorla, Wilshere, Chamberlain
Welbeck

subs: Martinez, Ajayi, Coquelin, Arteta, Rosicky, Campbell, Ramsey

Come On You Gunners, you’ve got this!!

How many of us screamed that Wenger did not finish the transfer business – and we were told to shut up.

How many of us have screamed that Wenger’s tactical prowess has diminished to the point of near non-existence – and we were told to shut up.

Only a few games into the season and Wenger is using an untested reserve RB and an unqualified LB at CB.

And still some players just sit on the bench unwanted and unused.

Wenger is our biggest injury because every time wilshere plays we struggle.
How he gives oxlade a nod over Campbell is only to known to him…because apart from making some runs here and there and making us excited what else does the oxlade give us, goals, assists or half assists??????? Am very ok with bellerin but would have prefered a real central defender no matter how young bcause playing any one out of position under the embrella of experienxe doesn’t work.

  2. WiserthanWenger

I think Campbell can make a better DM than Flamini, younger , stronger, faster, hungrier..

  3. joeboy

Its just awful! Its like they have no game plan!! Why are we soooo poor without the ball….wenger your time was up about 3 seasons ago, please please just do us a favour and leave at the end of the season

  4. Specialist in Failure

Cut that bullshit about title hopes, Mr Wenger. You better think how to avoid relegation zone instead.

  5. AussieGOONER

ozil and sanchez fked there career joing this shat club. no ambition no future useless cnts spineless ppl

  6. rkw

Until wenger and this board leave this once great club will remain second rate…serious fans have been saying this for three years now but sadly too many 4th place junkies kept the Frenchman hanging around….pathetic… But even I thought we could outclass hull …. Surely it’s time for the doors anthem…. This is the end my friend

  7. Usmanov

Arsenal loss today was written in the stars. The most we can try to salvage from this game is a draw. Campbell doesn’t look very fit. Don’t blame him.

I have to agree with other user somewhere above who said he doesn’t enjoy watching Arsenal anymore. Because I don’t. I get frustrated but when we score I don’t feel joy. When OX scored against Spurs I felt nothing, it was already a lost game, just like today’s match.

Arsene Wenger is the only man responsible for the current team and how the team plays. If the soldiers lack discipline, the fault lies at their commander. Arrogant neglence of refusing Fabregas, not buying a CDM or defense cover is costing us once again. Title was officially gone when we lost to Chelsea, CL is a lost cause – no use to play it if we’re out in the first knockout phase.

Welbeck, OX, Mertesacker, Flamini, Arteta, Wilshere, Monreal etc. are not good enough to be starters, maybe some of them not good enough to be in the team at all. Yet they are guaranteed a place in the starting 11 week after week, season after season.

      Totally…

Welbeck, Ox, Metersacker, Flamini, Arteta, Monreal…..etc shouldnt be in the team at all…

bring in Reus, Draxler, Isco, Varane, Bender, Kodogia, Cavani, Carvalho etc…

      we need to spend big!!!

  9. sam-afc

I’m sorry but what the fu*k are we doing? It’s just same same same. Do something arsene change tactics. We liked a broken record just doing the same old thing over and over….

  10. RSH

dont even care bout the result. Sorry, but im done watching this match. Rarley do i not watch the full 90 even when we were getting thrashed, but there is honestly no purpose to this Arsenal side. Were fighting for a draw again Hull at home. Clown manager with one tactic and a board who lets Arsene run the whole entire club. They basically admitted to it at the annual meeting and seemed proud of it. See you all for the Anderlecht match, but I just can’t with this game.

  11. medvet

Sack wenger Sack wenger Sack wenger Sack wenger Sack wenger Sack wenger Sack wenger Sack wenger Sack wenger Sack wenger Sack wenger Sack wenger Sack wenger Sack wenger

  12. Ronny331

Mertesacker as always take a bow!! Wenger your a clown. Wtf hss happened? All the while shampton winning 7-0. I despair 🙁

  13. fred cowardly

Even with the draw I’m still pissed off and if crystal palace scores an equaliser I will be even more pissed off

If it ends a draw watch Wenger praise us and play the blame game

  14. joeboy

Now all you will here will be wenger saying we should won but the ref let us down by letting hulls first goal stand…..well how about we was just fcuking shti today wenger! Worse tactical manager in the league

  15. DennisTheMenace

that’s it…. i am finally giving up watching football thanks to that piece of $hit called w@nker… but i promise that someday i will travel to emirates and personally present the team 11 pairs of balls to stuff into their shorts before every game…

  16. rkw

Bye bye wenger!!! A mid table manager …we deserve better than this tired arrogant and mediocre French twat!!!!

  17. GOONSTER

Sorry but we are so off even challenging for the TITLE… We have too many softies in the team..

Season after season we ask for some real muscle in the team but get nothing..

    So frustrating..

  18. Tidan2

We have the players, which is proven by the utter dominance at the end but there is just something missing. Campbell played well like usual when he came on.

  19. Justsoccerfan

I think all the players will hate sanchez cos his work rate is better than our players in total.

    1. Me

Drop him for who you ?

We don’t have the privilege of having a good squad.

Just ten players who can only play in two positions…

  20. fred cowardly

We play at home against Hull. Chelsea play away and we still end up 2 points further adrift from Chelsea.

Draw doesn’t make me jump up for joy, sorry.

  21. jackieboy

Not happy with the result, not happy with Wenger. The players deserve praise for rallying albeit too late. But fans shouldn’t have to put up with Wenger’s failings. P45 the guy before it’s too late. Get in a football manager not a financial economist.

    1. Me

      Deserve praise ?

They did nothing for 85 minutes.

This team has no spine or fight anymore.

Just foreign mercenaries like Ozil picking up huge salaries..

  22. jibber

Wenger CLEARLY can’t motivate his players. No one to mark that cross, and only Mert who tried to do something about A.Hernandez who was heading the ball.
everyone just stands and watches it happen.

it’s until Campbell and ramsey coming that you start to see some actual teamwork.

Then seriously, why not let Campbell play more!? and why shove ox on the left when he doesn’t even get the ball earlier? it’s not if he was blocked off, clearly he wasn’t involved because of how we play.

    WENGER OUT!

  23. Me

There goes the 2014/15 Premier Season

Just like the nine before that.

The welfare of Wenger obviously comes before the welfare of the club otherwise he would have been shown the door years ago.

So disappointing – what will the excuse be tonight ?

  24. ryanh27

And another game goes by without a win… What’s that, 2 wins in 8 premier league games… Disgraceful… Starting to lose faith in this arsenal squad… Only thing that made me happier was the performance by Sanchez …

  25. Usmanov

Who needs a f*king LW when Sanchez can actually play there and influence the game much. Our best player at the moment by a long mile. Sanchez put a bit of soothing on our painful draw.

  26. Tommy-Gunner

Fair enough it wasn’t our best performance, and without my biastnoculars on…. The ref did have a s**t game!! First goal shouldn’t stand, fouls all over the pitch, poor decisions. Not saying we were amazing and should have destroyed Hull but we deserved more than the draw.

We are getting too easy to play against, other teams know our game… Last season it was the bigger teams with tactically aware managers, this season all the others are following suit!! Time to change our formation and tactics, becoming far too predictable!! I’m not a ‘Wenger out’ but without doubt, he needs to change it up!!

    1. Me

      Wenger needs to change.

Dear god in heaven do you see him changing his ways ?

      He needs to GO

      and NOW !!!!!

  27. Usmanov

Nothing to take from this game really. Except for the fact that Sanchez proves his worth and then Campbell gets to play. Surprise! suprise!….Campbell is not a bad footballer.

  28. Ronny331

Again it comes down to a makeshift defence and the one who is slow and tall but rubbish, wenger sort it out or get out!!

  29. Thando

Next time play campbell in place of ox(the kid is not playing to his potential) and im gonna ask a question is there any game we have won while jack is playing? And be real.that why i rate ramsey
