Official teams and Preview of Dortmund v Arsenal

It looks like Arsene Wenger has decided to try to get over the Arsenal defensive crisis while also taking advantage of the one being suffered by Jurgen Klopp and his Borussia Dortmund side, because he has picked a pretty attacking line-up, with the big news being that young Hector Bellerin get his first senior start in place of the injured Mathieu Debuchy.

It is not only that that points to the Gunners going for it either, because Kieran Gibbs comes in on the left and Mikel Arteta gets the nod ahead of the more defensive minded Mathieu Flamini. Wenger has also kept both Ramsey and Wilshere in the team and the under fire German record signing Mesut Ozil starts as well.

Szczesny
Bellerin, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs
Arteta, Ramsey, Wilshere
Ozil, Welbeck, Alexis

subs : Ospina, Chambers, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Rosicky, Cazorla, Podolski, Campbell

There is plenty of attacking talent on the bench for the Gunners as well, so I think we are going to go for it and try to take advantage of Dortmund missing key players like Reus, Hummels, Sahin and Gundogay. The former Man United man Kagawa is on the bench for them, but they still have a strong side with the likes of Bender, Grosskreutz and Mikhitaryan so it should be an entertaining game. Let’s just hope we win it…

Sanchez is paying back his transfer fees at every game.
Cannot fault the Chilean… Fighting for every ball.

Good job wojciech szczesny, you twat!!
    Arteta is asleep.
Podolski is looking for his other boot.

I know we all hate Jose but think about it what would happen if he was the manager

Simple he would make an exale of the players
Wenger will play the same system and make two changes

  3. mr lean

Wenger should pay back personnaly the money the three thousand loyal Gooners have spent on tickets and travel tonight

  4. Ronny331

Let’s sell miquel, verm and loan out jenks great plan. Let’s keep faith on lurch good plan, deluded, blinkered…….

  5. AussieGOONER

and and we want to win the cl hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha we wont be able to win the fking captiol one cup this season its over.

    1. rd_gunner

True if it wasn’t for him it would safely be 5-0..losing doesnt make me bitter..but not turning up for the game is disrespecting the club! and the manager seems powerless when he is required the most!

  6. LoCkAy

There is a difference between “wanting” to win the CL and giving ourselves the tools to win it.

WENGER IS JUST NOT DOING HIS JOB, IT IS SIMPLE AS THAT…!!
ANYONE AT ARSENAL CAN SEE IT.

HE GETS PLAYERS ON THE CHEAP AND THEN GOES AND BUY OZIL…!!
DID WE NEED OZIL? WE NEVER HAD PROBLEM PASSING THE BALL AND SCORING…!!

HE IS NOT A COACH 🙂

  7. captinweestain

    This is bloody horrible
The next article is going to be fun to read not.
I already know Wenger out, ozil out, mert out, arttea out, wlebeck out, shit this shit that.

HHHA just ran through our defense like nothing
    i’m beyond pissed off

  8. RSH

Mhkytarian didnt even have to try right there. I dont believe our players are serious right now. They just cant be.

  9. phil-thompsons-nose

3 chances to wellbeck .. Oh for one of those chances to have fallen to our forgotten man Walcott..!

His return can’t come soon enough..

Please resign Arsene.. We may actually have a chance to finish top 4…!!!

  10. mr lean

For Saturday if I was Wenger I would play Welbeck in goal Ozil as right back and ospina as centre forward ! Sh#t Arsene I’m joking !!

    1. gunnerman8701

They just let Wenger feel good about himself. Really think AFC van beat Man City? AFC couldn’t win Man u in their worst form

  11. Don King

We will finish second in the group and get kicked out of r16 as usual. I thought this season would be different. But our defense is actually weaker than it was last season

    1. RSH

we only in it for the money anyways, not to compete. If the board gets serious and sacks Le Useless then we have a chance.

  12. captinweestain

score wise though, it could be worse, but performace wise, i can’t rememeber the last time we played this poor

  13. abishek

we need a major overhaul like in ManU after AW leaves. AW is loyal and wont axe average players. I think I would only keep Alexis, Theo, Rambo,Jack, Kos, Chambers, Shezzy.

    1. Ljungberg's Cool Red Hair

We Have the quality, at least offensively, our mánager is clueless on how to use and motivate that quality. GOOD LORD WE NEED A DM EVERY TOP TEAM IN THE WORLD HAS A DM, WHY A RICH CLUB LIKE US DOES NOT HAVE ONE?

  14. AYZAY

I just burnt my lips watching this match, i put the wrong side of the joint between my lip, fuuuuuuuuuucccccccckkkkkkkk wenger!!!!!!!!!!!! And the team, sanchez excluded

  15. LoCkAy

Wenger is a coward… Ridiculous managing and no clue about modern football.
Arteta is just dead on his feet, dead.
Welbeck seems to be another Sanogo.

Damn I do miss Giiroud… You deserve the rest mate, you don’t have to be part of this sh*t!!

I can hear the excuses from that deluded twat “we had heavy legs from the Man City game” lol

THE NEXT 3 YEARS ARE GOING TO BE PAINFUL, BE READY PEOPLE…

WIN THE CL, DON’T MAKE ME F*CKING LAUGH.

YOU CAN LOSE A GAME, BUT BEING DOMINATED FROM THE FIRST MINUTE TO THE LAST.

    1. Ljungberg's Cool Red Hair

Hahahahahahahha ur kidding right? This was not a game for giroud. Welbeck need’s to develop his finish. He has the pace and the skill but the end product is vital

  16. Ronny331

Still delaying buying my puma shirt, the club is not justifying my spend yet, I may have a long wait until I get it.

  17. LoCkAy

MOURINHO FOUND HIM OUT, THAT IS WHY HE GOT UPSET (AND WE DID TO BECAUSE WE REALLY KNOW WENGER IS A FAKE, BUT YOU STICK BEHIND YOUR MANAGER).

  18. rkw

wake up call for the cheese eating surrender monkey…games moved on since 2003…your existnetial gallic footballing bs no longer convincing to anyone

  19. LoCkAy

THE PITCH IS THE TRUTH AND WE GOT IT 🙂

2-0… WE ARE LUCKY TO GET AWAY WITH SUCH A SMALL SCORING.

WENGER KNOWS DORTMUND IS AN ATTACKING TEAM AND OUR MIDFIELD IS JUST OPEN FOR BUSINESS… WHY? WE DO NOT HAVE A DM TO BREAK THE OPPONENT.

F*CK YOU WENGER, YOU FAKE SH*T

  20. Budd

What a bad game. I think we should forget it as soon as possible. We played $hit. There was no one good today. OK, maybe Sanchez but he kept the ball too long. Welbeck missed at least two good chances. Ramsey crap, Wilshere frustrated, Ozil bohemian, Mertz static, Bellerin too impressed by the yellow wall, Kos and Gibbs out of this world. But the epithome of our night was Szceszny trying to dribble the fastest man on the pitch. No turn up tonight, no one has. We played utter bollox.

  21. phil-thompsons-nose

There’s a few wengerites out watching our comments…

Listen.. It’s only the first game in the CL and what a place to start the CL. Campaign…Dortmund is a tricky place for anyone..!

4 games into the premiership season and all is not lost..not far from the top.. Beat villa Chelsea city draw.. Hey hey not far away..

Same old same old shite in my opinion.. Wenger doesn’t have ANY ambition to win anything and he has lost all faith from the players who do not believe in him..!
Wenger is past his sell by date and although it’s early in the season.. We are yet AGAIN going to end up in the same position as last because Wenger is a blind stubborn fool..that will never change and we are stuck with this painful man for another couple of years..
    But…Come on wengerites.. Defend him..

  22. Don King

I wonder what type of excuse wenger is going to come with. We played absolutely sh*t and there is no excuse for it. Our squad has no fight in it son of a bit*h

  23. DANDY GUNNER

ONLY ONE MAN to Blame for this Mauling and that is WENGER. He mess up big time in the Transfer window. I thought I heard someone say this was year Arsenal we going to win the CL.
Looking at this team tonight they would not win an EGG and SPOON race. Watch Wenger is the after match interview he will come out with the same old crap, we had injured players it was raining down our end the sun was in our eyes the other boys would not give us the ball and so on.
WENGER IS PAST HIS SELL BY DATE HE HAS TO GO AND GO NOW.

  24. blugooner

Trust Wenger to play the same starting 11 against Villa on Saturday. The man is not Smart. He will keep playing Wilshere until he tears a ligament.

  25. Moreno

we all love to dog on arsene wenger but really, what can we do about it? support another team because this man will always be the same

  26. LoCkAy

We got out easy… 2-0 they did us a favour and they will be f*cked with themselves as it could have been a thumping!! Dortmund had 24 chances !!!!!!

Changes won’t come now because we have the deluded one for 3 more years.

Welbeck is not a natural finisher… Like Sanogo he gets into position and make the right runs, but just cannot conclude…!!

We are going through the same thing every season in the CL and the BPL… Just no ambition.
It is the first game, but you can clearly see, even that early, we cannot win f*ck all and compete in f*ck all !!!

    1. Moreno

you’re absolutely right, the old man has won everything under the sun in his mind so who cares really. His job is to get us into the CL and finish top 4, if the fans cry then he will make ONE big purchase and call it a day.
