Perfect Arsenal addition? Real Madrid star eyeing exit

Arsenal-linked midfielder Alarcon Isco is growing frustrated with his current situation, and has now revealed he could leave Real Madrid in the near future.

The 24 year-old is currently outside of Zinedine Zidane’s first-team plans, having been selected to start only once in all competitions so far this season. Because of his situation, his place in the Spain international squad is now under threat.

Isco is now keen to find a solution to his problem, and is willing to quit the Bernabeu in order to get his career back on track.

‘If I’ve still only made a few appearances by the end of the season, I’ll look elsewhere,’ said Isco.

‘At 24 years of age I have to right to better myself.’

Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea are likely to consider making their own moves however, but I believe he would be more suited to our club.

Arsenal’s style of play is very creative and possession based, similar in style to those sides in La Liga, while Alexis’ recent switch to centre-forward could also have opened up a place in the starting XI for him.

Isco could slot in nicely in behind Alexis, with Mesut Ozil on the left, and could well help us to further close the gap on the Manchester clubs. On paper we are not on the level of the big spenders, but our understanding and organisation as a team is an advantage our rivals lack.

The midfielder has worked alongside Ozil previously, although spending pre-season in 2013 as well as only August of the campaign before he switched to us, will not have been long enough to build a strong relationship.

Is Isco the ideal type of player to sign next summer?

  1. As far as I knew, Isco is attacking midfielder who like to play right at the center as second striker. His attacking style of play remind me a bit of Jack. Always want to score goal rather than creating chances. Isco definitely sharper than Jack but without defensive ability. The last point maybe one of reason why he doesn’t get regular time under Zizou. Isco has exceptional talent, but my opinion, he still need to learn about team player. If I’m Arsene, I’ll think hundred times to replace Ozil with Isco.
If he can improve his defensive ability and selfish tendency then he might be perfect for us. Only if.

  2. I think he means to replace Sanchez on the left as the Chilean has now moved into the centre-forward role?

  3. the only space open for him is the LAM but we need a LWF not another midfielder on the left.
and preferably a natural LWF like Griez or Reus (if we can solve his injury-probz)
