Pick your Arsenal team to beat Brighton

Arsenal v Brighton & Hove Albion – Team prediction by Moh

Arsenal will be traveling to Brighton in the fourth round of the FA cup today and coming back from a fantastic 0-2 win against Man City, this should on paper be an easy game for the Gunners. We faced them a couple of years ago and we won by a narrow 2-3 win and went through to the next round. Brighton were a much better side back then and fighting for promotion to the Premier League. This season they are on the lower half of the table and look set to playing another season in the Championship.

With Man City, Tottenham, Southampton and Chelsea all miraculously being knocked out yesterday, and Man United and Liverpool drawing, this is a great opportunity for the Gunners to retain the trophy.

Here is my predicted line up giving some of our stars a rest…..

Szczesny
Bellerin Chambers Koscielny Gibbs
Ramsey Coquelin
Walcott Ozil Rosicky
Akpom

I think Wenger will be looking to rest some of our most used players like Sanchez, Cazorla and BFG who have played almost every minute this season. I also believe Wenger will give Szczesny the chance to prove himself again, along with Gibbs. While also giving players like Ozil and Walcott the perfect game for them to start after their injuries.

Prediction 0 – 3 to the Arsenal, COYG!

    …………….ospina…………..
    Bellerin…bfg..boss ….Gibbs
    ………..coq……..cazorla……
    Walcott…….Ozil…….the ox
    ……………..giroud……….

Seeing as other big teams have been knocked out, we really shouldn’t underestimate Brighton. I think sczsney has some attitude problems that needs sorting, ospina has been good so I think he should keep his place, or maybe even Martinez. Also cazorla has been in unbelievable form so no point leaving him out. Give Sanchez a rest, and obviously Walcott and Ozil need some game time. We can always bring on Rosicky, Ramsey and other capable subs off the bench. It’s nice to have so many options for once, wenger can literally put a top class side out today no matter who he plays… COYG

    Giroud
    Rosiky. ozil. Walcot.
    Ramsey. Flamini
    Gibbs. Mert. Chamb. Bellerin
    Ospina

Team i would like. Would put ox but he needs a late fitness test. Ospina is in good form and has played not many games. So the gets the nod for me.

Howeve bellerin also faces a late fitness test so wenger might put chambers at RB and leave BFG with Kol at CB. But we do jeed a good team since these lower leagues sides are decent considering the suprise but awsome results for arsenal that happned yesterday.
