Woo Hoo! Arsenal get some GOOD injury news!

The good news for Arsenal on the injury front is not about our Wales international midfielder Aaron Ramsey unfortunately. We don’t know for sure yet but it looks like the midfielder will miss at least a month after he suffered a similar hamstring problem to the one that kept him out for six weeks earlier in the season.

I am not talking about Alexis Sanchez either although the sounds coming from the club are optimistic that the Chilean may even be fit to face Middlesborough in the FA cup on Sunday after the crunching tackle by Leicester’s Upson seemed to have damaged his knee.

Official teams and preview of Arsenal v QPR

There is a rare starter for Arsenal today in the shape of our Czech Republic international Tomas Rosicky. The move to bring the midfielder into the starting line-up is probably being forced on to the manager, but with Arsene Wenger still having to cope without almost every first choice central midfielder in the Gunners squad, the Frenchman is probably delighted that Rosicky has at least made himself available.

There is no Chamberlain, Ramsey, Arteta or Wilshere because Wenger seems to have spectacularly offended the god of football injuries somehow, so Cazorla and Rosicky will have to make sure that Mathieu Flamini is nit left too much on his own.

Three BRITISH strikers that could solve Arsenal’s problems in January

For the sake of argument, let’s assume that Arsenal are going to sign a striker in January. Arsene Wenger often seems to be on a completely different page than the rest of the football world, and we really have no cause to doubt the Frenchman’s superior knowledge at the minute, but I am going out on a limb and assuming that he also thinks that the Gunners could do with some cover and competition for Olivier Giroud.

Arsenal scouting Europe’s top-scoring striker!

Arsene Wenger is always on the lookout for a bargain, especially if he is English, and it is being reported today that he has sent the Arsenal scouts to run the rule over the 23 year-old Charlie Austin at Burnley.

It is little surprise that there are many top Premiership sides watching the Englishman, as Austin is currently breaking records with his goalscoring prowess, in fact this season he has already scored 20 goals for Burnley, two more than Messi at Barcelona and one more than Ronaldo has for Real Madrid! Naturally Austin is the top scorer in Europe at the moment.
