The Arsenal and France striker Olivier Giroud has had to contend with much criticism over the last four years since he arrived at the Emirates, but he still manages to put in his performances and score the occasional goal 🙂
Aaron was considered to be a budding supertalent when Arsenal beat Man United to his signature all those years ago, but now he is considered to be yet another Arsenal prodigy that has failed to live up to expectations.
With all the hype surrounding the Euro2016 tournament it is easy to forget that there is another big competition going on in America at the same time. The Copa America celebrates it’s 100th anniversary and Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez will be hoping to retain the trophy for the first time in Chile’s history. The Premier League may be over but we certainly won’t be short of games concerning Arsenal players for the next month or so….
There are many many Arsenal players going to be on show in France during the Euros, so we will have quite a bit of interest in most of the games. I am especially looking forward to watching Switzerland’s games so I can see Granit Xhaka in action. As an extra bit of interest did you know he could be lining up against his brother, who is in the Albania squad, in their opening game?
Can Giroud Put a Hit-And-Miss Season Behind Him with a Stellar Euro 2016 Campaign?
Olivier Giroud ended his 2015/16 season on a high note by blasting a hat-trick past a feeble Aston Villa side, but it might not be enough to save his Arsenal career.
I must admit that I think Tomas Rosicky was, and probably sill is, a fantastic footballer, but I am also becoming a bit tired of his whining and moaning about not being in the Arsenal first team very often. Every time he is put in front of a microphone he uses the opportunity to whine a little bit more.
We are all aware that Tomas Rosicky has made it clear that he wants to leave Arsenal so that he can actually play every week rather than sit on the bench, and we also know that Arsene Wenger has upset the Czech international by exercising the club’s right to extend his contract by another 12 months, but do we know WHY the 34 year-old wants to leave after so many years of loyal service?
