What now for Coquelin and his Arsenal career

Is Coquelin’s future in doubt at AFC? by Ash

Arsenal decided to let go off a lot of the players classed as ‘deadwood’ this summer, whether that be by selling them, loaning them or even releasing them in the case of Denilson, Arshavin and Squillaci, however I think one name that we were all quite surprised to see go out of the door was Francis Coquelin.

Gnabry’s goal to earn him Arsenal place for Sunderland?

The Arsenal under-21 side were in action last night at the Emirates, and they put in an impressive performance to beat a strong West Brom side by 1 – 0. The goal was a stunning volley from the young German player Serge Gnabry, and it may just have booked him a seat on the coach going up to Sunderland for the Premier League game tomorrow.

Arsene Wenger is not willing to take chances, despite Arsenal already being 3-0 up from the away leg in Istanbul last week. Jack Wilshere: Arsenal’s Gifted Curse part 1 By Shona

Jack Wilshere is undoubtedly one of the finest players Arsenal currently has, indeed the 21-year old midfielder is among the most promising young players in global football, rightfully mentioned in the same breath as Neymar, Isco, Gotze, Alcantara, Gündoğan and so forth. It is with that said that many of the Arsenal faithful are bemused by what seems to be a correlation between his appearance in the side and overtly poorer performances.

Coquelin needs more games at Arsenal to stop him leaving!

Le Coq on his way out of Arsenal? by AH

Francis Coquelin is a very favourable player at Arsenal. His likable attitude and consistently good performances make him one of the best young talents at the club. However he struggles to get a game, and it’s no surprise when you have a midfield trio of Mikel Arteta, Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla playing most games, and then after that Aaron Ramsey and Tomas Rosicky.
