Eddie Howe tipped for Arsenal job by Wenger’s former star

Claude Puel has tipped Eddie Howe to succeed Arsene Wenger in Arsenal’s top job in the future.

The current Southampton boss Puel worked under the French boss at Monaco when Wenger led them to the Ligue 1 title in 1988, and actually spent his entire playing career with the club.

Wilshere’s Bournemouth stun Liverpool to keep Arsenal 2nd

For Arsenal fans it is not only our on loan midfield star Jack Wilshere that has many of us keeping an eye on the performances and results of AFC Bournemouth this season, as their young English manager Eddie Howe has been touted as one the potential candidates to take over from Arsene Wenger when the Frenchman finally decides to call it a day.

Is Howe right to call Arsenal links ‘meaningless’?

Eddie Howe has dismissed reports linking himself with the Arsenal job, but is he right to?

The Bournemouth manager has just persuaded Jack Wilshere to join his club on loan for the season, as he looks to get his career back on track following a number of injury setbacks, and is said to have been chosen over a number of clubs due to their free-flowing playing style.

Wenger says Flamini should NOT have been booked!

Arsenal fans have become used to Arsene Wenger ‘not seeing’ crucial incidents on the pitch involving his players, but he quite clearly saw Matthieu Flamini’s tackle on Dan Gosling and he believes that Flamini should have got a free kick rather than a yellow card.

Arsenal were lucky with Flamini but were owed one…at least

I must say that although I am glad that Arsenal got the benefit of the controversial decision of a referee for a change, I feel sorry for AFC Bournemouth and their manager Eddie Howe. Really it should have been one of our previous two opponents Chelsea or Southampton that was on the wrong end of a call as they have both benefited from the officials at our expense this season.
