Arsenal have just signed two young Nigerian youth international players, so it is obvious that Arsene Wenger has got scouts watching African players at the moment. Now it seems the best young player in Kenya, is also desperate to be given a chance to prove himself at the Emirates and last year he sent a personal message to Arsene Wenger via a Youtube video.
Arsenal’s latest sponsorship deal takes hem to Kenya, which has a very large number of Gooners in their ranks. The Gunners have teamed up with SportPesa as the official betting partner in Kenya, and they will be joining together to offer club merchandise as well as tickets to go to the Emirates to see their favourite club in action.
Last week there were utterings from the Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama that he was wanted by Arsenal, but since then he has been on international duty with Kenya, but he has re-affirmed that his agent is still continuing the talks with Celtic and the Gunners while he has been playing in the World Cup Qualifiers.
It is being reported today that the versatile Celtic defender/midfielder Victor Wanyama is the subject of a battle between the two Premiership giants Arsenal and Manchester United. The Kenyan international can play in virtually any defensive position which would make him a positive addition to any side in the Premiership.
I have a very interesting new Guest poster today from the Arsenal-mad half of Kenya, and I will let him do his own introductions……..
