Joel Campbell still hopes to make it at Arsenal! by Ash
After watching Olympiakos against Manchester United last night I realised two major things. Firstly, one that does not come across as something shocking at all, is that Manchester United are currently in a bigger crisis than Arsenal have ever recently been in, despite not coming under the same level of media attention. And secondly what a very good player Joel Campbell has the potential to be. .......Read the full article here
We may only be a few days into the month of January but there have already been some moves in the transfer market regarding Arsenal. Although sadly it’s not quite the good news that you may have been expecting and it fact, its players on the way out that is the main topical focus. .......Read the full article here
You may or may not have heard that Arsenal have a talented young goalkeeper on the books that isn’t Polish international Wojciech Szczesny. It is in fact an Argentinian international Damien Martinez who at just 21 is already getting rave reviews in the lower tiers of English football.
There have been a few comparisons towards current first choice goalie, Szczesny and youngster Martinez because they have had similar rates of development in regards to their potential at respective levels, and what interests me is the fact that Martinez is experiencing the exact same situation at Arsenal that Wojciech undertook just over four years ago. Damien Martinez originally joined Sheffield Wednesday on an emergency loan in October however, after several good performances for the club, both parties agreed to extend the loan. .......Read the full article here
Well there have been many rumours flying about that Arsenal have been hoping to persuade Real Madrid to allow the young striker Alvaro Morata to move to the Emirates in January, and now the British National newspaper The Express has confirmed that the deal is done and dusted.
They report that the 21 year-old will be arriving in London on a six-month loan deal from January, and will be hoping to get many games as backup to Olivier Giroud next year so as to boost his prospects of making the Spain team at the next years World Cup in Brazil. .......Read the full article here
Nico Yennaris is a player often forgotten about amongst the Arsenal first team and unsurprisingly so considering the fact that he isn’t exactly a regular, but still we tend to recognise who our main upcoming talents are at the club. Unfortunately for Yennaris, he doesn’t seem to be one of them. .......Read the full article here
Arsene Wenger spoke the words that strike fear and dread into the heart of every Arsenal fan, or anger and frustration at least. The Gunners boss was speaking after the match against Napoli yesterday and was asked about the players that would be leaving the Emirates this summer, supposedly Nicklas Bendtner, Gervinho and Chamakh.
Reading through the comments on some of the articles regarding our recent Pre-Season tour of Asia, I’ve seen that quite a few people are disappointed with Wenger’s decision not to give Thomas Eisfeld more playing time. At the time, his absence wasn’t something I really noticed, but now that it has been brought to my attention it’s made me think, why doesn’t Wenger play the young German much? .......Read the full article here
What are the chances of Miyaichi making it at Arsenal? by AH
After seeing the response to the article surrounding Joel Campbell, his chances at the club and the possibility he could be heading out on loan with promoted side Crystal Palace reportedly interested, I thought that id address another players whose future is up in the air at Arsenal.
Ryo Miyaichi future is uncertain with Arsenal, with thoughts that he doesn’t have the ability to make it with the Gunners. However I’d completely disagree with this statement. I think Miyaichi is such a promising player that we surely cannot afford to let go. Similar to Walcott, at the moment he doesn’t seem to offer much apart from his pace, however he has been developing key skills and attributes that are making him into a very promising player for the future. .......Read the full article here
In recent days I’ve tried to stay away from the transfer window and the continuous speculation that is surrounding both Arsenal players outgoing and the rumoured targets for Arsene Wenger because quite simply its clearly getting a bit frustrating for Arsenal fans, however although this isn’t another piece of news that claims to be the latest on Gonzalo Higuain or the real truth on Maroune Fellaini or Julio Cesar, this article looks at a player that could soon be on his way out of Arsenal. .......Read the full article here
The only guaranteed Arsenal transfer target so far this summer is the young free agent Yaya Sanogo, and even that move is yet to be confirmed on the official Arsenal website! But the Auxerre chairman Guy Cotret had another meeting with Arsene Wenger on Monday, and he has revealed that the Arsenal boss will wait until after the pre-season games before deciding whether Sanogo could go straight into the Gunners starting XI. .......Read the full article here
Arsenal are yet to officially announce the signing of Yaya Sanogo from Ligue 2 side Auxerre on a free transfer. However the striker himself has told the media that he will soon join up with the Gunners and has since reportedly signed a 5 year deal and passed a medical. So the structure of the deal is there, it is just yet to be confirmed by the club. .......Read the full article here
What are we going to do with Nicklas Bendtner when he comes back to Arsenal? by SS
Simple, sell him. He has been on loan at Juventus this season after Arsene Wenger finally tried and failed to sell him last summer. He has not scored a single goal at Juventus this season and has failed to show the Arsenal management why he should stay at the club.
Bendtner started his career in his native Denmark with Copenhagen who are one of the biggest and best clubs in Denmark. He was purchased as a teenager for a very small amount and left to prove his worth in Arsenal’s reserves for a while. .......Read the full article here
