Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that he and his club are following the progress of Kylian Mbappe this season.
The Frenchman was speaking to the Ligue 1 official Youtube Channel, and confirmed that he was keeping close tabs on Monaco youngster Mbappe, who is flourishing this season.
The debate about our manager and who might take over will continue to rage among Arsenal fans, of course, for as long as Arsene Wenger is still in charge. A good summer transfer window from the Frenchman and a good start to next season will help to calm down the calls for Wenger to step down but I do not think that even winning the Premier League title would see them disappear altogether.
I must admit that I would be surprised to see the Arsenal board appoint our former striker Thierry Henry as the new manager before he cut his teeth anywhere else, but stranger things have happened. And the flying Frenchman took one step closer to replacing his former mentor Arsene Wenger this week as he completed the next stage of his UEFA coaching courses.
