Top iPhone Apps for Arsenal’s FA Cup Final Appearance

Top iPhone apps for the trip to Wembley by Sam Mellor

As another intriguing premier league season draws to a close, the FA Cup final beckons as Arsenal prepare to take on Aston Villa on May 30th.

For those lucky ticket holders on their way to Wembley, we’ve compiled a list of iPhone apps that’ll make sure you get the most out of your trip, regardless of the result.

From getting to the ground, to food and drink, to stats and scores – we’ve got you covered. Check out our top 8 scorers below – and may they bring you glory.

Getting there

1. Citymapper

Every Londoner’s best friend, Citymapper lets you plan your route to any location via a combination of transport options. With live travel updates, you can work out the quickest way to the stadium safe in the knowledge you’ll catch kick-off.

2. JustPark

Finding parking near Wembley can be an absolute nightmare, so if you’re travelling by car we’d recommend using JustPark. With hundreds of private parking spaces near the ground, you can book a cheap space on somebody’s driveway rather than endlessly searching and paying full whack.

Food & Drink

3. MatchPint

This handy little app tells you where the nearest pub screening the game is relative to your location. Ideal for those without tickets who want to soak up the Wembley atmosphere, or for a cheeky pre-match pint for those fortunate fans with them.

4. Urbanspoon

A great tool for finding food in your local area. You can compare restaurants by ratings and popularity levels, check out menus and view photos of meals on offer. Make sure you grab some good grub before the game – it could always go the distance…

Stats & Scores

5. BBC Sport

Arguably unrivalled in its football coverage, the BBC Sport app provides handheld access to all the latest football news and live match updates.

6. Onefootball

Branding itself as ‘the best mobile football platform’, Onefootball has everything you need in one place. Check out team info, line-ups and betting odds, and keep abreast of all pre-match news and views.

And, if the actual football isn’t that impressive…

7. Super Save

Very addictive offering from the same guys who brought us Flick Football. Fancy yourself as a great penalty saver? Stop swerving shots of increasing venom with your virtual gloves – bet you can’t beat our high score…

8. New Star Soccer
Possibly our favourite football simulator on mobile, NSS combines beautifully simple gameplay with a career mode and accompanying narrative. Score screamers, land sponsors and pretend you’re Lionel Messi for a day.

I just wanna say something here: Let no 1 undermine the value of the FA cup, when we win that trophy(am praying so) it ll be 2 trophies in 2 seasons…rather than 2 in 11years… If ancellotti had won d copa del rey am sure he won’t be sacked, if manutd have a chance to play d fa-cup they wld to complement their 4th place;liverpool same 4 gerrad’s exit ; chela too won’t mind a ‘so-caled’ treble…I say this bcos some people r jes saying its d fa cup; I know we want the big one- d league and champs league; am tired of waiting too…but this FA Cup is a great trophy;wc will calm d nerves of sanchez, koscienly and ozil….who I know might say they want trophies; that’s why Jose mourinho was jumping like a child wen they won the carling up;it was a form of motivation; So let’s go ahead and support the guyz…COYGs
