Wenger refuses to leave unless pushed out by Arsenal?

So it looks like the uncertainty about Arsene Wenger’s future at Arsenal is going to go right to the end of the season, as Kroenke and the Directors are going to stand by the Frenchman until the end of the season at least, especially as Silent Stan is not so bothered about winning trophies as long as the “business” is profitable.

Now a report in the Mirror says that Le Prof has no intention of stepping down, and is carrying on business as usual behind the scenes. Here is an extract from the article:

Arsene Wenger has begun to confirm to people behind-the-scenes at Arsenal it is his intention to stay on as manager — for another TWO years.

Boss Wenger is planning new player contracts, signings and is even drawing up ideas for next pre-season, and those around him believe he wants a new deal when his current one runs out in the summer despite the current fan backlash.

The club’s position has not changed in that the announcement will come at the end of the season, and they said last month it will be a mutual decision.

As has been said earlier, how can it be a “mutual decision”? Does that mean that it is totally up to Wenger whether he goes or not? I am certain that Kroenke for one wouldn’t tell Wenger to leave, especially as the share price keeps rising, and is not known for interering in his companies unless they start losing him some income…

So it looks to me like we have got Le Prof for at least two more years!

I have heard that the great Nome king fuzzy Wuzzy has released all of his magic juice over the plants of ticky wicky land!

Evidence you ask? There simply isn’t any.

Could be true OR NOT though.

What is wrong with this bloke , doesn’t he get the picture. Seriously Lefraud you are not good enough anymore. Somebody on this board needs to grow some balls and SACK HIM. It won’t happen though none off them give a shit about us. You guys in the UK need to boycott games stop buying merchandise and food and drinks in the emarites .
If this guy stays I’m afraid we may be relegated in the next 2 years. That’s what it is going to take for them to sack him i think.

Wenger Refusing to go would sound perfect if he has bought Arsenal FC already, but he replaced somebody and the same will at one point be done on him. He must know that the longer he stays the more the hervok, leave now with respect.

Seems like it…he is the only individual perhaps blinded by his past glories…though we are all thankful for everything there is no such thing as an individual being bigger than the club so much so that he can make the decision by himself when he leaves.
That two year contract should be off the table or heavily reworked to fit the modern needs

I hate how Arsenal has become. Nothing but an enterprise. Shame. Middle finger to the board and Wenger.

in 1996-2004, Wenger was a professor in managing Arsenal club. but ever since 2004 up to date, Wenger is a professor in sales and marketting in Arsenal club. so we are tired of this prolonged drought of cupless. We are too tired of sales and marketting of this Manager. we need another manager. enough is enough…go wenger please and we will be fine

Divorce after at 67 and after 34 years, A zipper that couldn’t be fixed for two whole years, 10-2, 8-2, 6-3, trembling at the mere mention of Bayern, R. Madrid, Barcelona, ManU, Mourinho, etc. Add up one Truth; Wenger is a serial loser. To succeed in the Primier League, one has to relegate ManU, Chelsea, Liverpool, Mancity,Spurs, Swansea, Crystal Palace, Southampton, Stoke, Westbrom, Everton, and Leicester, because all of those are bogey when it comes to playing Arsenal. God have mercy!

If the board offer another contract to Arsene the we should all do as i suggested yesterday don’t renew our season tickets boycott all the games .Hurt the board and Stan in their pockets as it is obvious they are only interested in making money at our expense. We pay the highest prices to watch the rubbish being served up,when you pay top prices you expect to get some reward like winning trophies Not fourth place that’s failure not success. If Stan and the board are content with that then we’er doomed.
