What the bookies are saying about Alexis, Ozil, the Ox and other Arsenal stars

There is a never-ending stream of Arsenal transfer rumours about all our star players that only have one year left on their contracts, including Alexis, Ozil, the Ox and many others, so I think it’s a good idea to look at where the money is going as to their possible futures. There are many betting markets on Arsenal players that could be leaving so we’ll start with them….

Mesut Ozil is thought to be the one of our two biggest stars likely to stay at the Emirates next season, but if he did decide to go most bookies have Bayern Munich as the most likely destination. Most markets are giving you 10/1 on that, but strangely enough Betfair (which is actually based on punters exchanges) have them priced as low as 4/1. They have Real Madrid installed as 6/1 2nd favs, while other bookies go as high as 25/1….

Alexis Sanchez is, very worryingly, odds on with nearly every bookie to go to Man City after rumours saying the deal is already done, with Bayern as 2nd faves, except for Coral who are offering 6/4 on either club. On Betfair is is 4/9 on City, and 6/1 on Munich. It looks like it’s a done deal….

As for the Ox, everyone is convinced that he will be still at Arsenal next season, with 1/4 the biggest price you can get, although Liverpool are priced between 5/2 and 9/2. Man City are the only other team in the betting at under 20/1….

Calum Chambers, who was quite impressive at Middlesbrough last season, is 3/1 to go to Newcastle with Betvictor, with West Ham and Everton in at 4/1. Watford and Crystal Palace are both priced at 8/1…

Moving on to Hector Bellerin, there are really only two teams in the market. He is generally 1/3 to stay at Arsenal, and 2/1 to go back to Barcelona…..

So to recap: the bookies think Ozil, Bellerin and the Ox are staying at Arsenal, and Alexis is off to City. Would you be happy with our window if that happens?

  1. Ozil should go. He is so lazy, and have don’t care attitude. Arsenal is willing to give him 280k/week
OH GOD! Have mercy on Arsenal. He should be accompanied by Giroud, Mert, Debuchy, Jenkinson, and Perez to the exit door. With these snails, we can’t have counter attacks.
If Bellerin goes, then buy Walker/Aurier
If Sanchez goes, then buy James Rod/ J. Draxler
    Bring back Joel Campbell.
    Buy Aubumeyang/Mbappe/Lacazette

  2. (lacazette)
    Sanchez ozil

    Sead Xhaka (James R.) Bellerin

    Monreal Koscienly/mustafi Holding/gabriel

    1. Could you guys stop with these squad Alexis should and will leave he as won everything except the premier league and if we want to be honest with our selves we all know it won’t happen at Arsenal the big joke of a club. Everton as a better chance of making top six this season than Arsenal and for you fans who buy tickets I am sure in a few weeks the club will increase ticket prices?.

  3. Ozil is a play maker in arsenal, as far as arsenal type of playbis concern, Ozil can’t be ruled out please, Yes I like Sanchez, he is a very good player, a husttling type, so to speak, but if he insust,I think he can go.

  4. oh why did we let sanogo go??
seing this ozil sanchez and the rest will probably feel this is a club with no ambition and would demand to leave.
    Wenger out

      1. Yeah I just don’t get it. They sell Gnarby before he was given a chance. They loan out Wilshere, Szczesny, Campbell at an age where they should either be sold or kept in the squad. And then offer Ozil a contract double his wages after a mediocre season. Who the hell is controlling this madness?
I think that there is massive problems in Arsenal and don’t be surprised if it isn’t just Sanchez forcing a move away.

  5. I don’t know why Alexis wants to leave. He has won all the trophies possible with Arsenal with the exception of Premier League, Champions League, European League and League Cup.

  6. If Sanchez leaves , need to address how Arsenal will replace 30 goals, and then add about 9 – 10 more. Haven’t seen good solutions yet.

    1. It will hurt me to see Alexis playing for another EPL outfit. How & why do we always feed Man City with our best players? Have we become their nursery so that they can tap in whenever they want? Shame to Kroenke and his board

  8. I’m just curious how will the sweet little lies sound like once Sanchez goes to Man City and once we buy zero top players.
