Which of Arsenal trio will beat Spurs to EPL awards?

Arsenal fans need to get busy on their computers because the public will get a say in who wins these three Premier League awards for the month of September, although all 20 club captains and a number of Premier League experts have their say as well.

After a shaky start to the season the Gunners have come to life and September saw us win five games, lose none and draw just one, the Champions League clash away to PSG. The rewards for that, as well as the points and the confidence it gives Arsene Wenger and the players of course, has been nominations for all three awards.

So the boss is up for manager of the month along with the Spurs boss Pochettino, Alan Pardew, Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola. Theo Walcott’s fine form has been recognised as he goes up against the Tottenham striker Son Heung-Min, Lallana, De Bruyne and Lukaku for player of the month.

Last but not least is the new boy Xhaka-boom, with Granit Xhaka’s long range strike against Hull City up for goal of the month against Son’s goal for the spuds at Stoke among others. Here’s a link to the Arsenal website page which you can use to enter your votes, but which if any of the Arsenal trio will win?

Not Wenger I guess, although the 20 year anniversary thing might just help him, but I think it will go to Klopp or Guardiola. I would like to see Theo win as he looks a different player and it is not just his goals that have impressed, but if I was to put money on one of our lads it would be for Xhaka’s wonder goal.

What do you think Gooners?

Bob.

  1. Attacking wise we look very thin. Sanchez cannot be trusted to play week in week out. Wenger doesn’t seem to trust Perez and that doesn’t look good. Ozil looks well out of sort and iwobi needs to be rotated and the only other option is ox who we have seen goes missing more than not. So far we are running our luck but how long before we will be exposed. I want wneger to go on high like sir Alex because he deserves but I don’t have full confident with this squad.
