It’s hard to be an Arsenal fan. We allowed Man United an easy win. We gifted it! These games reeks of Leicester. The mistakes we made back then were undone by loads of goals, but now when we somehow manage to miss quite a few sitters, we got punished.
We fell for the United trap set up by Mourinho. Didn’t Wenger see the Watford game they played? We needed at least a point. You cannot lose to your top 6 opponents at home and wish for a top 4 finish.
I’m really gutted, a few back passes and we would’ve won the game, but this is Wenger for you. The players were taught to do so. Why aren’t they coached to go back? What’s wrong with playing the keeper? We missed a lot of chances and at the end we paid for the mistakes.
The defending on the counters was amateur. We also should’ve committed some fouls maybe with the risk of a yellow card, but instead we chose to concede again. The worst thing of all though is that we had warning signs.
We scored for 2-1 and then they hit the bar on the counter. But we kept bombing forward with no purpose to defend and we lost. When you don’t take your chances you lose. That’s football. We had lots of the ball, but we missed some incredible chances. I’m so disappointed but as long as Arsene Wenger is here this is the only thing that will happen.

Funniest thing about it is that Wenger was going to take off Lacazette for Giroud if it wasn’t for Pogba’s red. Lacazette, Ramsey and Ozil was our best players. Lacazette ran them in the ground and constantly being a problem for their defense. He would have easily gotten a hat trick had it not been for De Gea.
when will we finally realise Ozil and Sanchez dont turn up in big games ! whats the issue with selling them and getting younger guys like Draxler… completely demoralising when all Arsenal players keep talking after 2 wins against bottom teams tjat we can win league ahead of a big match and then immediately lose! Zero fortitude and Deeney wast right about our team!!
Ozil played well.guess u didn’t watch the match.
Why ? Because Wenger instructs them to play pretty pretty pit a pat football in or near our own penalty area … instead of sometimes getting rid. It happens over and over again. And this time we lost the match against a team whom we generally outplayed big time.
Personally I think signings like Xhaka Mustafi were wrong moves they are not good enough to play for us. Xhaka should of scored, don’t get me wrong but if I’m paying someone £150K a week I want him to be able to hit the target from 10 yards FFS. Why didn’t Mustafi whack the ball out for a throw? That’s what we were taught as kids. Blokes a mug.
You forgot to give massive credit to De Gea, when he’s on his game, simple unbeatable, period.

I didn’t watch the game due to work.
I predicted 2:1 in arsenals favour. Seems like we get turned down when we expect them to win. I hear the attackers were good but defense was messy. Before the game, I thought we are Gonna be strong at the back. Anyway, we have been here before. We were never in the title race truth be told. Top4 at best!
when you lose 8-2, 6-0, 5-1, 1-5, and you still dont tackle the defensive issue it means the manager is an inept deluded old man.
He has had all the chance to build a world class defence but he is just too stingy to pay the price. If we had a world class defence then we wouldn’t be conceding incredibly stupid goals. You need big strong and fast centre backs that can bully the likes of Pogba and Lukaku. Nor paperweights like Monreal and old grand pas like BFG. It is completely annoying that Arsenal let Gabriel leave and then chose not to replace him.
A championship winning team is built on a mean defence. Ours is a very generous one. Goodbye top 4. Let’s concentrate on the EUROPA league. Its the only route to the champions league.
Accountability!? Same mistakes over and again and no one ever gets a rollocking for it! Some really poor defending and shooting. Our quality in general is just too short to take us beyond being a fourth place team at best!
Same old, same old. Its not like we are not used to such things already. Annoys me a lot as i thought that besides those errors Arsenal played well.
We need to sell Mustafi asap as he is way to carefree and way to injurie prone. Jesuz Christ Ramsey and the chances he keeps on missing. I dont want to think of ozil leaving as i do know that Wenger will use Ramsey in that poz.
Sigh, this team has potential but we dont adress our errors, and we dont learn from our mistakes

Haven’t heard a thing from Konstatin in awhile, suddenly he crawls out of the woodwork? Coincidence I’m sure.
If you can’t congratulate as well as criticise what good is your opinion as an arsenal fan? There are some writers that regularly contribute regardless of results, you’re not one of them.
The fight the players put in I can’t fault them for and if they keep putting that heart in we won’t be hearing from you in a while.
They probably never watch the game and just criticise because of the scores…
Today we showed what we can do, but the two errors at the beginning cost us. It where school boy errors, especially the one from Mustafi, but I am not even mad. Manchester were very lucky today. After this game I hope Arsene will sell Sanchez and get one or two new wingers (Moura/Zaha/Draxler and Insigne/Reus)and buy a extra RB(competitiom for Bellerin or use Maitland Niles)and a central defender (vDijk/Zouma).
If whe play like this we will be top 4 for sure. Champions ain’t going to happen because of man city

I think the fundamental of the team is still the defenders. We have to make sure we don’t concede Regardless of whether we get the goals.
Lotsa shots by no goals, it’s utterly useless. Everyone knows wins are determined by goals.
We have problem because goal scoring is only by a few players. And if we don’t find the net, we are done for.
Can someone please tell me why our boys keep throwing chances away? The goal posts are wide apart enough, aren’t they? Why are players like Iwobi and Ramsey always guilty of putting the ball within the keeper’s reach, or out of touch?
De Gea showed really good reflexes alright, but we reportedly made it too easy for him imho.
Trouble is Wenger knows nothing about defending. When he came in over twenty years ago he inherited George Graham’s defence, when the Invincible’s came along they were so good they never had to rely on defending. Over the last ten years when their was a need for a defence to be built, he’s been incapable
Run em ragged but silly errors by Mustafi & co let us down , why does Wenger sign these turds that aren’t good enough to play for the Arsenal Xhaka another turd who missed the target, open goal from 10 yards and he puts it wide, my nan could’ve scored that and she’s been dead 10 years , so f- ing frustrating.

I can’t understand why our defence is so poor when Bould was playing he was a beast longside Adams, Keown .If he is supposed to be our defensive coach then why cant he instill some of that aggression and passion into our current players?
Same old whiny Konstantin. Blame Wenger for everything. Bad weather? Wenger’s fault. Brexit? Must be Wenger too. Terrorist attack in London? I’m sure Wenger had something to do with that as well. He must have told Mustafi and Koscielny to make those mistakes hence we lost the game. Unreal. Defense had a bad game. De Gea had an awesome one. That’s all. Give it a rest, dude.
I agree with you guys (harish and Vlad) everything can not be Wengers fault. if you blame him for playing Kos and Musti ( our two best defenders) then be honest and generous enough to giv him credit for creating 33 chance and 15 shots on target too. The defense made some school boys error and wenger is not responsible for that in anyway. It hurts to lose the way we did but we can take some positive from the way we played and it shows we can actually outplay Man U that much and they won’t be that lucky twice in one season and I am looking forward to the return match at Old Tradford
