Why these Arsenal stars will shine at Euro 2016

I am only guessing here Arsenal fans, but I will flatter myself in believing that it is at least an educated guess that Iā€™m making about how our Gunners will perform at Euro 2016 and not just one fueled by wild optimism and misguided faith in the talents of the Arsenal players due to be involved in the tournament.

I know that no matter what I or anyone says there will be some Arsenal fans who are unable to draw any sort of positive from the fact that we finished second in the Premier League last season, even though it was our highest placing since the invincibles won it in 2004 and that is made it three years in a row that Arsenal had improved our final position in the table.

But imagine somebody who knows nothing about football and the Premier League specifically looking at last season. Would they really be as hard on Arsenal as some Gooners and the football media have been? Or would it be the likes of Chelsea, Man United and Man City who received more criticism?

Whatever, the fact is that Arsenal and our players are the ones that the press has really got stuck into but I think this could work in their favour this summer and I firmly believe that some Gunners could be stealing the limelight in the coming weeks.

We have the likes of Jack Wilshere and Tomas Rosicky involved, who have hardly kicked a ball all season and will be desperate to make up for it, but really I am thinking of the likes of Giroud, Koscielny, Ozil and all.

The constant sniping from the media combined with the very real disappointment of missing out on winning the EPL title will, in my opinion, make these Arsenal stars extra motivated and determined to succeed this summer. I certainly hope so and am looking forward to seeing our lads in action.

Which Gunners do you think will have the best Euro 2016?

    That you Arsene šŸ™‚

  2. Just want them to return in good shape.. next season we have to fly out the blocks and put pressure on our rivals from early because it’ll be the most competitive season yet.. most of the usaul suspect for the title will have new managers building new squads n drilling them with new tactics which may take awhile to be effective, Manchester United with ucl qualifiers to contend with will certainly handicapped them, and we must take advantage of all those disadvantages for our rivals heading into the new season.

  3. Don’t worry about the new managers, they are more than capable of winning the title, Ranieri did in one season, Mourinho is an old dog in the EPL, Klopp has had half a season already, maybe Guardiola and Conte might struggle a bit for the title but not top four. I am just asking that we don’t take water pistols to a machine gun fight.

  4. Wenger, mourinho, guardiola, Klopp. Conti, ranieri, pochettino

Not a bad line up of managers that, does any other leagues have a top 7 line up like that?

Then throw in the likes of koeman and bilic and one or two others.

  5. Going by the transfer window’s effects!
I would have to pick the magical lamp post,
to shine the most out of all our player’s, at the Euro’s.

You know it makes sense! ??
